Hi Tirl thanks.
We went to church yesterday - that went okay. Had chicken korma and rice for dinner. I did another dishwasher load and some washing but kept noticing water leaking in my utility. In the end had to switch washing machine off - there is a leak in the cupboard under the sink so it was wetting/wrecking my clothes faster than I could wash them. OH reckons he can fix it tho.
Made a cake yesterday and let kids ice it.... White icing and they made spiders to go on the top with some black icing I had. A bit sickly really tho as the icing is too thick!!
Made a gorgeous roast dinner for tea but got OH to peel spuds and sweet potatoes that was really yummy.
I actually sat down long enough to read a book. I didn't do any painting this weekend in the end and still got to sleep. Still need to get a move on and get to work. DS is on an inset day today. DD told me she was too - but luckily I checked and she isn't! So she got a shock this morning when she was told to hurry up and get ready for school.
Need to check her hair again really....
OH needs to order new flooring he still hasn't done it
I need to find out how to pay off new car as money now sat in the bank from balance transfer ready....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

DS has gone trick or treating -altho we'd rather he hadn't. Think we have had over 100 kids!! Can't believe how many sweets gone thro....
Have been trying to hoover and tidy while everyone is out... Trying to get things respectable after letting htings go while I decorated!! Still got lots more to do....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I think, well I'm hoping, we've had the last of the trick or treaters. I don't mind the little children, but it can get a bit much.

Luckily DD likes school.
But yesterday got home and DS had a friend over (outside) not allowed in when adults out... SHE was back again tonight:eek:. So invited her into front room, chucked her out of kitchen while I talked to DS and then basically took her home and advised her to get a rape alarm or use a bike with lights.... as she would be safer than walking alone on the streets at night... I told her about an incident last year - and said basically I cared about her safety... Will see if has any effect....
Today was okay but not in the mood for DS's friends hanging around... "come by invite only" on a school night in my book!! OH left first thing like 5.30am but because of a chemical spill - not likely to get back until about 11pm.... Hope its sooner....
Luckily got 2 pizzas in the oven - £2 deal... Was tempted to go out for a meal but resisted... The kids are having pizza - I think I will have sausages, jacket spud and beans.... Yum!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
