    Thanks Lu and Tirl

I think at the moment if I sleep better - I definitely have a better day. Slept reasonably well last night - I only went to bed around 1am so was sleepier. I think I should have got up about 7 did look at the clock on my phone but stayed in bed.... have slight backache now...

OH's appointment is today but he's not allowed to eat before it and has missed his "eating" slot it had to be before 8am. So he's staying in bed a bit longer.... especially while I eat breakfast. His blood tests came back clear tho so things looking okay so far....

HI AH it was very colourful wasn't it... Made me smile while doing it

OH got thro tests ok - EKG monitor says fine - but he also had some drugs to make his heart race and a little while later had a special scan with radioactive dye. The results on that seem a little unclear and its borderline whether he will have to go back for a second test. He was all cocky about it and then suddenly on the way home went very sleepy - and went to bed when he got in. I then baked a cake, painted most of the hall, stairs and landing area that still needed doing (tiny bit left) - took down pictures, mirrors etc and since rehung them and also painted kids bathroom magnolia too. I also cooked a spag bol tea.... For some reason loads of energy today, but quite a bit of pain too - but mostly from where seat belt connected with tummy area and where my bra fits.... As soon as they were removed - pain went LOL Little bit of help from paracetamol

I'm quite tired myself - which was the point of all the activity - so hoping I get a decent night's kip tonight.... So signing off now and hoping for a good day for me and you all tomorrow

Thanks Gill and Tirl - well I did have a lovely kip - and most of it looks good this morning. More sleep is definitely helping the whole brain work and activity level thing - altho really I need to get a shift on and get into work.

Only a tiny bit of touching up to do of the parts I've painted already so happy!! Need to find one of those roller extension poles - think we have one in the garage an can then hopefully finish the magnolia bit of the hall. It all looks clean and bright. OH when he was helping the other day got obsessed with the finish and kept going over the same bits rather than waiting to see what it looked like when it was dry - hopefuly next time he'll realise we don't need to do that.

We are still on the first 10 litre pot of paint so pleased about that too. The dust covers definitely helped too - gave me more confidence to do the stair well area....

Still need to do the lounge and OH's study and finish off the downstairs toilet before flooring comes. Ideally we want to gloss all the woodwork white again. I'm hopeful we will do the ceilings in the lounge, study, little toilet and bathroom and probably the downstairs bit of the hall. I do have reservations about trying to do the upstairs stairwell and landing ceiling bit as we are keeping that carpet and I don't want it wrecked! It'll probably depend how the last bit of magnolia-ing goes. Also a friend of ours has a suitable ladder so think definitely need to investigate if can borrow that.

DS has caught the painting bug and may now paint his bedroom magnolia away from blue and then consider whether to have an accent wall. His sister's room is now blue so I think that contributed to his decision LOL.

I need to go and motivate myself to make an omelette for breakfast as we have run out of milk and have no yoghurt in to make a smoothie with.... Unless perhaps I look thro the freezer - there may be some in there?

Just hope we don't run out of time to finish redecorate before the flooring arrives. In my experience it is the glossing that takes forever (so I often skip it LOL)

Had omelette for breckie. Did buy milk but left it at work so had to go out again tonight to get some and pick up my prescriptions! I decided to test whether midnight pharmacy meant midnight and got there with 5 mins to spare :D they reluctantly served me which made them late home. I doubt I was very popular!

Had a really good day.:j Feel I have turned a corner and my energy levels have come back and my brain is functioning properly again. :TThink going to bed slightly later is helping as I am naturally more tired so get to sleep quicker if that makes sense... leaving less lying there awake time. I had a difficult meeting today but where as last week I would have been completely drained today I was buzzing.:j

Tonight OH and I left DS and went out for a really nice meal - it was gorgeous!! :beer:OH and I had a good talk although nothing deep - but he is still tired from yesterday's hospital injections. We always try to have a date night when DD is away and it is just DS left. We then popped in on friends unannounced for a couple of hours which went well. The last time we just popped in on these particular friends was probably the same time last year :rotfl:

DS enjoyed the time to himself until he found that he's now been volunteered for a youth painting party for his local youth group :rotfl:. It comes complete with sleepover so he's going for 2 days and 1 night - and we get peace ROFL. He was so not impressed :p but I am hoping it will help him bond better with the other youth, give him something constructive to do and help him feel more integrated and perhaps give him some new or deeper friendships.... I'm not that happy with some of his friends so hopefully this will help him widen his social circle a bit.....

It does mean that I will have to be up and out a bit earlier tomorrow, he also has to take a packed lunch and contribution towards food the rest of the weekend. DD is at MILs still so we will have peace :cool:tomorrow night too. I will probably do some more painting as would like to get as much as possible done while DD isn't here...

I've had to wash his clothes as he is disorganised and try to get them dry on time. I will need some painting clothes for him too but he wants some nice clothes to change into as well.
