Remember to still take it easy though!

Thanks - but that's so doesn't come naturally to me!

Slept OKish last night but not as well as on the nights I've painted!

DS has come round to the idea of the painting party - helped out by me having bought him lovely lunch food. Still drying a top for him to wear as you do..... I still need to finish breakfast and get ready to leave myself - and we are supposed to be there in 30 mins.... But they are used to me being late....

I think I will pop back home afterwards to finish getting ready or we'll never get to his thing!

I did pop home briefly but only to find he'd forgotten his clothes - had to drop them after work this evening. Took friend round the storage unit - she liked it....

Work went find - did about 6.5 hours so pleased - last week was struggling with 5 or 6.

Meeting boss tomorrow. The change in my duties is going ahead - very shortly - a couple of days a week - currently look slightly unlikely to get any money out of it which will be frustrating but should go up a grade at least for part of the week / possibly the whole week it is a little unclear.

Just eaten left-over spag bol from the other day which is good. Was too tired to cook! Thinking of nipping to the shop for chocolate and some bits.... Alternatively I could bake something but TBH fancy buying something more LOL Unless I made naughty chocolate fudge cake.... hmmmmm I do have some gorgeous packet mixes including icing.... Think that's the way forward - especially as it takes no time at all in food processor... Bad for diet tho...

I may do some painting tonight too - as think will sleep better

Hi guys well I've avoided parking fees all week so really pleased with that as it saved me £15! :money:Did meet a friend for lunch today but that's our once a week treat...

Picked up DD and found out that she had given MIL nits...:o I am so popular!!!:eek::eek:I am now worried as I am at hairdresser tomorrow so will be checking and double checking my own hair and putting prevention stuff on!!:eek::eek::eek::eek:DD is now sat in bath - apparently first lot of stuff MIL tried hasn't worked - Oh joy!:(

Work went well - pretty pleased as less than half a day short of having worked a full week so big improvement from last week. :) Boss is happy for me to take next 2-3 weeks working less hours if I need to so pressure off there. I talked to her about a couple of concerns relating to my new role - and basically was told nothing to worry about - as she'd partly put me in there to shake things up:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and expected me to continue to operate in the way I do now which set my mind at rest.:j

OH has to go back for a second hospital test next week but this is apparently reasonably standard so trying not to read anything into that. Have got the time off. My DD also announced tonight she has an inset day Monday I was unaware of:eek: so may need to collect stuff from work and work from home that day. Boss will be fine with that. Need to find out now if DS also off. You know how it is they tell you most of the inset days at the start of the year to lull you into a false sense of security and then tell you the dates of the other two to throw you at the last minute!:o

Sis is apparently having MIL's 2 double seaters, throw and cushions plus two lots of curtains so apparently both parties thrilled with that. Our suite will be donated to the church youth group which also takes pressure off. DS enjoyed his painting party in the end but has now gone out on a mysterious walk but isn't meeting anyone honest.....

Took an hour and half to comb thro DD's hair with anti-head lice stuff with nit comb - her crying all the way thro... Problem is not convinced got them all... So intend to do it again tomorrow....

DS has checked his hair - he's okay. OH still needs to check his. I am at hairdresser tomorrow so going to thoroughly check mine first....

Cos I've focused so much on day job and then decorating... house in complete chaos!! But don't want to put it back to normal til finished decorating but that could take a while at this rate as mysteriously beyond OH's first 4 hours last week - he hasn't done any more!!

Need to check bank accounts as V's money should have gone in now - and if it has can pay off car loan with that and make sure OH has ordered new flooring...

Hi guys - well just done an online grocery shop - and with last weeks £21 credit from customer services, guarantee scheme and £5 off £40 shop - I got over £27 knocked off my bill on top of the £7 I saved with multi-buy offers! So grocery shop after delivery comes to about £40 for this next week. I did buy a few bits yesterday but say £15 worth not huge amount so doing a lot better...

I'm really tired tonight despite having done nothing other than DD's hair and surfed the web.

Hi Miz - thanks but what a day to subscribe on LOL!!

Off to the hairdresser soon. Need breakfast first tho.... porridge with agave nectar and coffee. Thinking of taking a smoothie to the hairdressers as going at lunchtime and likely to be there hours (as long as I don't get chucked out).

Want to try and sort out treats for DD as she hasn't had a good holiday so far... Need to think about what we can do....

Well hair looks lovely - hairdresser said nothing so hopefully had no little visitors or he was just kindly discrete! Luckily visit starts with being smothered with hair dye.... OH and kids think it looks nice I'm pleased with it.

I took back some of the stuff I bought last week and swapped it for a new coat which TBH needed more...

OH did a father and daughter day and took her out a play/farm which she loved. We then had a chinese takeaway for tea which was her preference. We wanted today to be special for her as it sounded like she'd had a rubbish week. Her hair is looking better for all that conditioner and combing LOL Backed out of redoing it tonight but will check it again either tomorrow night or monday night. I can't beleive how much mess she has generated in my front room already when she's only been back a day...

Still working on trying to get the kids to sort out their rooms..... They seem to want us to set the example... walks off whistling... have no idea why they're soo messy (nose just grew) LOL

Just got DS to empty kitchen bins and empty dishwasher. Now refilled dishwasher and done some tidying up of kitchen. House still has very messy tho.... Decided not to paint today... don't want to wreck hair!! Will buy a shower cap I think tomorrow so I can cover it while I paint!! My head has reacted to the dye tho in terms of eczema but it will go within a few days - especially once I've washed my hair again so think need to do that quite quickly....

Bought some yellow roses to give MIL but didn't get round to it so they are gracing my lounge instead. They look lovely. The flowers from the car showroom are still doing well too but they are what I call garage style flowers... don't really like the but would feel sacrilege to throw them away while they are still doing their thing.... :)

Have also put stuff in the TD and put a new load of washing on.... It nevers stops does it?!!!
