Telecom Plus Poorer and poorer

I had a reply to my e mail saying that they had now re-registered me for the e billing service ( I didn't think I had been de-registered!) and they e mailed me an invoice. I noticed that the invoice date was 10th July! So why haven't I received a posted one? Also the invoice due date is 24th July!, so have they changed the date that they are taking payments? Their admin department seems to be in major nedd of a shake up methinks!0
-
Just checked mine and the invoice date is 10th and due date 24th (email was sent on 15th).
No paper copy as yet.
The DD is not showing on my bank account (I have another one showing pending for 26th so I should be able to see it if they are taking it on Monday).
Can you remind me how you got on with your complaint with Energywatch.0 -
well, to cut a long story short, the reply I received from TP+ was that my bills were small so I should have no problem in arranging for the money to be there (how do they know that? >:(, and that they could not be held responsible for late delivery of bills, it was down to the PO, and basically if I didn't like it, I should go elsewhere!0

Thats not my understanding of the DD guarantee.
My orange bill this month was 43p but I believe I STILL have full rights to a notice period under the guarantee despite the amount.
Did energywatch do anything?
I can understand if you didn't want to pursue it and just walk away but I don't think they are right.
BTW - No DD showing on my bank account yet.0 -
Hi hansi
A while ago, you drew attention to a post in this thread from Money_Saver (who placed the post and never returned (under that name, at any rate), leaving some suspicion as to whether his interest in the topic was more than it might seem!!):
You quoted from Money_Saver:We have always had great service from Telecom plus and would recommend it to anyone
Then for some reason brought my name into your reply, which was:yeah, me too so far, try telling SmartAss that though!
;D ;D ;D
Maybe you have a little to add now!!!
(Didn't get called this for nothing!!)

This is all getting a bit too personal now!0

Smartass - I think things have gone downhill (for both myself and Hansi).
If it makes you feel better - YES YOU WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG.
However some of us don't always believe everything we read and you did come across at times as if you had an axe to grind (even if you don't).
I think you have some inside knowledge that you aren't telling us.
Perhaps you were a TPlus distributor and had a bad experience?
Either way, some of us thought it would be worth a go and found out that it probably wasn't.
From my point of view I have got through the troublesome initial phase of sorting out start readings, so I expect things to go fairly smoothly.
I don't particualrly see any reason to change as I've been throught the worst and don't expect any ongoing problems.
Don't expect everyone to take everything you say at face value.
Even if YOU know you are right. We don't know you from Adam.0 -
Hi lisyloo:Perhaps you were a TPlus distributor and had a bad experience?
No - as I have previously said, I don't have any personal axe to grind.
Just a seeker of truth and justice who got fed up with the underhanded behaviour of some T+ reps who came here treating the rest us with disdain by making exaggerated claims; posing as satisfied customers - when they turned out to be T+ Reps; glossing over the one sided Ts + Cs, etc etc!!
(My post to Hansi was never intended to be confrontational - see the smilies - but I should now point out in my defence that it was Hansi who made it 'personal' by referring to me in his original answer to the "highly satisfied" post from Money_Saver.)
Hopefully as a result of these threads exposing T+, we have ensured that at least any MoneySavingExperts thinking about signing up with them have had the opportunity of seeing everyone's experiences, as well as T+ questionable practices, and can decide if they want to go with them with their eyes wide open!0 -

Mission accomplished !!
and I have to say that it's put me off having a similar experience with ITPlus as it all looks horribly familiar.0 -
Read these threads with interest and thought a response from the company might be useful. We do take our customer siding ouervice responsibilities seriously, but we arn't perfect - yet! A number of issues have been raised:-
1. Our principle terms and conditions are shown on the back of the application form signed by the customer. The clause relating to credit card payment is actually in bold. We subsequently send all customers a copy of our full terms and conditions as soon as their application is processed. If they don't like any aspect of them, they can cancel without penalty.
