Loving these pics! Pics of seedlings really help me to know if I am getting on ok or not. It gives me reassurance that mine are ok :-)

I took this photo 2 weeks ago, so everything has nearly doubled in size now!

Arrrghh I have no idea how to embed an image!

All of the posted pictures are great, I'm almost embarrassed to post a link to my blog: Dream Garden Journal! However, we all have to start somewhere...

The blog really serves as my garden journal so it's not very verbose, but contains a lot of plant names. And plenty of pics - though at this time nothing very impressive... I hope that it will look better in the summer, and even more so in a year or two!

Some really lovely gardens in here :D

I've just finished in mine for the day and took some pics for you guys. Find them here.

The dark bits on the grass are (I think) where the Evergreen has killed off the moss. I'm hoping that will turn into lush grass. If not, maybe I'll give it some more! The bottom borders need sorting but I've not got to those yet. I'm hopefully putting a chicken coop in the right side of that border so I'm waiting before I spend too much time on it.

There are a few items I'd like you to look at and see if you can ID them for me. I'm a very newbie gardener so any help you can give is brilliant. Any hints and tips about anything you see is gratefully received!

Also, if anyone can ID that tree in the right hand side, I'd really appreciate it! It's not got any leaves yet but there are buds. The ends of all the branches point upwards, if that helps!

    Hope you like the pics...

Here is one of my favourite parts of our garden

There are some more pictures of other parts of it here.

It's very much a work in progress!

Kev, I'm not sure what the spiky things are, but I'm pretty sure the other one is a peony - hope I'm right, they are beautiful!

BTW my garden wouldn't put anyone to shame believe me, it's been a total mess of a playground for years and we're only just starting to give it some life back! There's a long way to go yet.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your curly table and chairs!

    Thanks Jenny :D

I've just googled it and I hope it's a peony now too as they're really beautiful. There's one of the same thing growing under the Rhododendron too.

The table and chairs were from The Range a few weeks ago. They've only gone and knocked off £30 now! Never mind, we still really love them and they're so well made.

I really love the back of the pond with the wood etc. in your garden. It looks really good and the ducks seem to like it too; it's so nice that you've got a pair of ducks. I'd love a pond but I'm afraid I am absolutely petrified of frogs so it's a bit of a problem :(

Kev, are you sure the rhododendron is a rhododendron? I think it might be a hydrangea. If it is, you can just go ahead and cut the dead flowers off just above the last leaves.

LOL! That's what I meant. I told you I'm a newbie. I'll go and change the name right now....

Silly me! And thanks for the tip :) It's really straggly - will it bush out with leaves during the summer?
