My garden in pics

This is my 1st year really growing anything in my garden. Last year I dug in a border in the front garden and bought a few mature plants but this year I am doing it all from bulbs and seeds. I am very pleased with myself so far. It got me thinking there may be others out there doing the same and so I thought we could have a thread to show our progress in pics?

I will start and I hope others will join. :D

There are tomatoes 1st, then sunflowers then alot of the rest is guess work as I didn't label any of the flower seeds! Also you can see salad leaves, spring onions, courgettes, strawberries oh and carrots in the big pot that looks like its full of soil, they are just starting to poke through. It is soooo exciting!!!

I think it would be nice to have a gardening diary thread on here where people can write about their progress and include pictures.

    They look great, well done

I have planted from seeds for the first time this year, they are starting to grow and I have now put them in my little greenhouse type thing like yours, I also have small pots all over the place lol.
If they are successful I'll upload pics as well but dont want to tempt fate! I have a feeling mine wont be as successful as yours!

About to plant sunflower seeds today :) wish my luck. I am such a novice when it comes to gardening!

I have been busy in my garden sorting out the winter damage and also where my lovely gazebo went for a walk in a storm last year done a lot of damage to my garden .. but getting there slowly ..., I am a massive rose fan, I have just over 170 .. but i do grow other plants too .. i also like lillies and dahlia's .. Ebay is my best friend .. i also grow some veg too .. I am a little behind at the moment .. I am growing peas, beans, onions, carrots & tomatos .. Maybe buy a pepper and cuecumber later on from a garden centre

oh wow, i love the photo's of everyones gardens......looks like i'll have to recharge the batteries for my camera later, and hopefully get a few pics of my own on here. Hopefully i will be able to get a good photo of my pride and joy....a brand new greenhouse, although i haven't had time to put anything in it yet, we only finished putting it up yesterday afternoon, and i've been at work yesterday and today.

I love everyones pics. :T Good idea to document throughout the year.

If I ever get my post count high enough I'll post some too.

My front garden is looking better than the back. We've not long moved into a new build and even though the builders planted grass seed it's a bit of a disaster, uneven clay soil that waterlogs at the slightest hint of rain.

The front was turfed and has a cherry tree planted. I've started a little border along the edge of the grass and I have lots of planters out. Once we get a fence put up I'll get more borders done out there.

brogusblue I love roses, esp. ones with a fragrance. I've just bought 2, all I know is that 1 is pink and 1 is yellow, they had lost their labels, so I'm hoping they're scented!
