Wow! You have some really fab plants.I love the Alliums. I've got some allium bulbs planted, crossing my fingers they do something! (The dogs are very cute too.)
I have a wish list of plants which I started a few weeks ago and I have a Blue Moon rose on it.
How are the QVC roses doing? Interesting that they send out plants like that. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

Blue moon rose can struggle abit .. have a look at Twice on a blue moon, Rhapsody in blue, blue for you or Moody blue ...
Have a look on this site .. just type the rose name in and it will show you some pictures of it .. http://www.helpmefind.com/roses/
Qvc roses i am very disapointed with them .. they actualy come from t&m .. they arrived in a huge box no protection nothing around the roots and very very dry sat them in water for 3 days and now potted on so she what happens .. but i am not holding my luck out .. £21.00 out of pocket i think .. i expected better quailty ...
Alliums are great 1st time last year .. they are really putting on some growth now .. i can see the flower heads forming ..
Warning to people growing lillies & fritillaries .. watch out for the red lily bettle .. .. i have killed about 20 so far .. these things eat your plants in days .. so keep checking ... soon as you seem them kill them ..

brogusblue, I'd try complaining to QVC custome services esp. if they die. See if you can't leave a website review as well. Really annoys me when big companies don't take care when sending things.
It was my in-laws ruby wedding last year and we got them the Ruby Wedding rose from Victoriana Nursery (I think that's what they're called ). It was really well packed and had lots of wet paper to keep it moist.
I'll have a look at the other roses you suggested, thanks.
Artydoll - Your Daffodils are lovely. We didn't move into our new house until December. Of course it snowed then and I couldn't get my bulbs planted, stuck them in planters about a month ago just to try and get them going, once they're done I'll dig them out, store them and plant them out later in the year.
Rickshaw500 - All of my plants are in pots this year, new back garden just isn't ready for planting. You've got some lovely colour already. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

I take it those are the beetles you were talking about? Horrible things!
I've just been out and taken some pics. (Then watered the containers.)

First 4 are the front of the house and the last 3 are my plant and planter collection which is currently sitting at the back fence. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -
Front bay at mine. Colour combination aren't the best...will rip out the awful red tulips.0
