Brown made me laugh when he tried to justify the war in iraq and afghanistan, he said it was to thwart a terrorist attack, we never had a terrorist attack untill july 2005.
If only we would have kept our noses out, we probably would never have had a attack from islamic fundamntalists, but instead blair at the time was like bush's lapdog and had to say yes we will help.
Now nearly 10 years on our soldiers are coming back in body bags and badly injured.
Another thing brown kept in going on about was crime figures being down, the reason they are down are people are to afraid to report crime, they know if they report a crime nothing will get done and their lives will be made unliveable after by the criminal they have reported.
I wont be voting labour and the only one that came out with any credit was clegg.0

If the cons had a leader with fire in his belly they might not be struggling with the prospect of a hung parliament0

Cameron seemed to have trouble remembering he wasn't in the Chamber doing PMQs. Most of his 'answers' to Browns pointed questions weren't, they were simply 'answers' saying what Labour would do rather than what he would do.
His anecdotes could all be Daily Mail headlines - designed to grab your attention with the sole purpose of waking Mr Angry - "Police Spend £73k on a Lexus", "Four years for serial burglar in arson attack", "At last - Immigration to be Capped".
He wants a national police force, he wants longer sentences. All well and good but a whole new police service and new prisons aren't cheap, yet he wants to find 1p in the £ not to spend and deliver everything Mr Angry wants him to.
Clegg did well because for the first time ever he managed to get the same amount of coverage as the two main parties. Many who won't vote labour again could never put a cross against a Conservative and Clegg did enough to win them over.0

Going to watch the other 2, as I think Clegg will suffer in the next one. He has had his chance to shine and has done so, but the other 2 will have picked up on this.
I thought both GB and DC held back. There's still 2 debates to go. So there's still plenty of time to expand on the issues.0

Ultimately this is how budgets are cut. Budgets are set and spent at ground level. There isn't much that can be cut instantly to save billions of pounds. The challenge to every Government department and public sector organisation should be to spend less. It can be done.0

Actually I thought quite the opposite, I thought he was doing a disappointing show compared to PMQ and was trying to hold back...for PR maybe?
The pointing fingers was most bad by GB I thought (along with the cries they all made to ''be honest'' to each other).
As for the Daily mail headlines, again, I don't think that was unique, or unexpected, a little ..cleggs references to very sick babies etc.
i think we have to try and look past the obvious on this a little while expecting it to be there. Many really do draw conclusions from headlines, it seems inevitable politicians will try and reach them and hope those who don't will look through that.0
