😆 I’ll put you all out of your misery, I think if anyone who knows me read this diary over the last eleven years they would have guessed it was me by now! It’s G l e n (n) 😬
I’m wondering how long to give it before I start to panic now, I can’t hassle the doctors too much as they have more important stuff to do and so far I’ve spent nearly four hours over two days on hold with princess cruises and have not managed to even get the call answered yet 😱
On a happier note I’ve bought some fabulously cheap clothes today at the ch@ice outlet, all n@xt labelled:
khaki cotton jacket £38 - £6.75
70’s denim style top £38 -£7.50
biker style jeggings £42- £3.50 😱
white sparkly vest £18- £4
white broderie vest £14-£2.50
brown gingham retro shirt £26- £3.75
plus a few bits I’ll take back, happy days!

Davide sounds a bit more exotic, I like it 😆
The surgery has come good and updated his records hooray 🙂 The only hurdle left to cross is getting a clear Covid test on boarding, we have managed to stay clear as a (huge) household the whole time through the pandemic so fingers crossed!Dd has put an offer in on a flat, it’s way under what they were going to spend buying a house, but they are fed up waiting to buy and as she lost her job they would have to wait a few more months, no answer as to whether it was accepted yet.
I’m off for a forest walk wi5 Ds2’s fiancée and her little dog, trying to go for a long walk once a week as I bought the parking pass in the new year. I’m too scared to go alone as it’s vast and I watch too many horror films 😂 Im aiming to do at least 70k steps a week which is not that many really, WW is going well as I’m eating tons of fruit and salad and no junk food really, 2lb off this week.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3 -
Hooray to the name change, fingers crossed for the clear test.
I think DD is wise - it may change their plans slightly, but getting on the ladder is never a bad things. Fingers crossed for her too!
I think it's fair not to go for a walk on your own in the forest - it's safer to go with someone and not just because of zombies! 😂 Lovely weather for itGood progress on the weightloss - and 70k steps is a good goal (it's more than I've been doing lately).

Thanks jessy.Oops I’ve been awol for days, it’s been a bit hectic but no real reason to go missing 😆
Good news for dd and fiancé as they had an offer accepted on a two year old flat, its got a large balcony which they were keen on since not getting a house now, right near the station to to the city and only a 10min drive from mummy 😁
In less happy news I’ve been on WW all week, first week ever that I’ve stuck to my points, eaten healthily and exercised and I’ve stayed the same ☹️ I know things take time but I also know when I do try weight usually comes off quickly for me. Calorie wise it’s worked out to around 1500 a day which is very low for me. I guess I’ll persevere another week and see if it happens again, next Monday I’ll be off the diet as we are on our anniversary cruise to nowhere 😬 Now with an extra night booked on the night before in Southampton, as last night I found a deal for £119 for a nice hotel with large grounds with dinner and breakfast included, may as well stretch it out as dh is off and it is our 25th!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3 -
Why the cruise to nowhere? Hotel in Southampton sounds great x
I've found (thankfully) that the bigger slimming clubs just don't work for me anymore. Look up team RH videos on utube and facebook to explain. I'm losing a 1lb a week or more with 1800 kcals a day - but 15000 steps are challenging but doable - for me its 2.5 hours walking a day broken into smaller chunks. He is sweary and very blunt - very sensitive people do not look, but has good explanations on calorific deficits, body satisfaction to reduce cravings. I paid £60 for the year for the app to get my macros which link to mfp, but there are free macro calculators around. The one I did gave me less calories to eat though.Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20223 -
