Thanks everyone, it’s been strangely quiet today as she was always very talkative ☹️

The kids are all not here, dh is working in the log cabin so I’ve had a nice early bath and ordered us bogof pizzas 😬 I could have made some but I really can’t be bothered and fancied a large greasy spicy one to eat in from of the tv.

I must start contemplating being a lot more mse after today I think, I’m reducing my grocery/petrol budget as I’ve become very lazy and unhealthy and a lower budget usually cures me of that, paired with ds2 and dd not currently living here we should spend a lot less.

Thanks greent and mrs mp 🙂

At least two of the three kids and partners are off to my in-laws for lunch, not sure if dh is going and I really don’t want to go (but that’s fairly normal 😆) I’m currently debating between doing the right thing or staying at home drinking my nice coffee pods and watching tv, after I’ve visited my brother this morning.

Well I did go to the in-laws yesterday in the end, it was ok. Dh has been rather unsupportive to put it politely about the cat, but he’s at work now so I shall make the best of the day.

I joined WW again a couple of weeks ago, I had put half a stone on since Xmas and was still half more away from target, I don’t really stick to their plan as it’s too restrictive but do like some of the recipes and reading their online community stuff. This week I lost 1lb which is better than nothing I suppose 😆 it was a cheap offer of one month free the about £11pm for the next two months.

So it’s time for a long overdue financial challenge, very long overdue really!

I’ve cut the grocery/petrol budget to £500 pm, I’ll track and update and hopefully spend more time using food up and cooking this month. Petrol shouldn’t be too tricky unless we drive for days out somewhere and I always try to use the work electric van if we can. The only non essential spending I can see happening this month is a night out at the curry house with the girls in a couple of weeks and also I want to order a couple of knitted items I’ve seem for me Xmas. It may sound funny but I’ve wanted a knitted Santa for years and have seen some on Etsy along with a knitted angel 😬

So sorry to hear about your cat and DD's job.  Is she in the arts sector or have I misremembered?  It's so tough with Covid.
