I'm so sorry to hear about wobbly cat, she was a sweetie and a joy to hear about. It's very upsetting to hear that dh isn't being supportive. Pets are so much part of the family.
Also gutted for DD, but she will bounce back. She's a very determined and talented person so I have no doubt that she will be fine.4 -
Thanks KP it’s very kind of you to say, dd had an interview yesterday so fingers crossed…
I’ve been awake since 5am as some crazy loon decided to have a loud chat on his mobile parked outside my house this morning. If this disruption keeps happening I may have to move in with Vix when she gets her new place 😬Not much happening today, waiting for the vet to call to collect the cats ashes, will probably scatter them behind the house where she liked to wander off too, it’s ugly but she liked it!Food shop done at L@dl yesterday and there’s a £10 off £40 spend in the app this week for those that don’t know, £45 actual food spend, £5 on a huge houseplant. I used the wrong card though, I’ve got a new swanky phone with Apple pay and I get flustered 😂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3 -
You'd always be welcome for a visit NG!

😆 Thanks vix
I spotted the £10 off thing on hukd website and it didn’t appear on my account for a few days after it was mentioned, maybe it’s account specific?
I had a nice relaxing day yesterday, planning what I’ll book on the staycation cruise we go on in two weeks time, until that is I noticed that dhs name is spelt differently on his passport than his nhs app 😱he’s never used the passport spelling as his parents always dropped the last letter on except his birth certificate! I’ve emailed the GP surgery as only they can change it, can’t get through to the cruise line either. The shopping budget is going well as is the weight watchers, cooked a curry combo yesterday from scratch along with lots of frozen leftovers and yellow stickers bits. I’m even hopefully getting dh out for a forest walk today which is a rarity 😆 no choice to to make an effort as all my posh dresses are too snug 😩MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁3 -
