I know what you mean, dreaming about it is one thing but having to sort the house out to sell and borrowing even more is quite another.

I've had a result tonight though, checked my online gas/elec bill and as usual tried the online adjust your dd amount and it went down from £95 to £85 pm yay! An extra £10 off the mortgage I think.

Exactly, we moved here so we would NEVER have to move again, doesn't stop you wanting more though does it.

Good result on the gas/elec saving, I meant to keep on top of my meter readings etc but have done nothing!

I'm always on right move torturing myself. have only just about restrained myself from downloading the right move app on my iPad. I have fallen in love with a house round the corner from us. no garden to speak of but a kitchen to die for! Can't afford it so not sure why I am torturing myself lol

Oops, I've been rightmoving as well. If we sold all BTL's what could we get? Nothing at all to tempt me from about 50 houses ......... till the last one :smileyhea:lovethoug:smileyhea.

If I could fall asleep, have someone else give notice on tenants, get them all out, redecorate/renovate. deal with estate agents, solicitors, mortgage co, movers, etc etc etc I'd do it tomorrow :o

What are we all like :rotfl:

I don't know we are never satisfied!

I go through the rightmove upset on a very regular basis, but its not every day like it used to be.Perhaps I should get a job as an estate agent and put all of this local house knowledge to good use.

Today I'm taking back some sandals that I bought a couple of weeks ago as i've not worn them and don't need them, but its £12 I can use for something else.

A few loads of washing to do, but its pouring so its never going to dry, plus still lots of ironing. I need to also step up the work i'm doing for dh as i have not been doing the hours for my £50 per week EVERY week. I have been thinking about upping the op's by that amount and using the wages as part of my budget, then I have to do the hours.

Anyway, off to find and pack the pe kits, I like to leave all this to the last minute as it all adds to the excitement of getting them back to school, plus i was too lazy last night.:D

None of us are satisfied but think of how satisified we will be when we can live in our homes mortgage free. :D We could afford our dream house as I'm 29 and am sure lenders would appreciate the interest on a 35 year mortgage but I think I woud rather get our mortgage down, then perhaps ease up on OP's while we save for our renovations.

What a long night, ds has been very sick all night long so there is plenty of washing to do today, my bed, his bed and even my goose down quilt that takes days to dry.

I don't think I will be functioning very well today as we only managed about an hours sleep in the end, so will sit on the sofa and keep ds company, although is is using the cat as a hot water bottle at the moment so he does have some company.:D

Lots of lurking and probably time spent on the mortgage calculator today i think.

Finally all the kids are in bed, ds2 will be off school again tomorrow as he was still ill this afternoon.

I am so tired from last nights vomit fest , I am going to bed in a minute.;)

I've kind of decided to tighten the belts a little more over the next few months, as I am hardly earning any extra at the moment, so need to up my efforts a bit.

The centerparcs holiday I booked for just after xmas as an extra present is going to be changed I think, after spending so much at butlins last week, I know CP will end up costing a lot as well, so I am going to change it and pay the (big ) difference in price to go in the summer hols. I want to go for a week but its £1408, and a weekend is £559, so have decided to go for the weekend, and then if I can save before then I will try and book the splashlandings hotel for a couple of nights and tag that on. Its dh's 40th a few weeks later and he wants to go to Alton towers, so I though it would be a nice surprise.

Its more money but if we go in Jan we will still have a weeks summer hol as well, so it really is a little bit MSE :D
