The pizzas were huge! Went to bed early afterwards for rest 😆Huge shop being collected from asd@ this morning, I’ve cancelled the Tuesday tesco@ one as we can’t wait any longer. I’m trying to eat more healthily as I think I’ve been quite stressed lately and that usually means I start stressing there’s things wrong with me physically 🙄 I’m really missing having ds2 living here now as it’s been so long, he visits - went to the cinema with them this week, but it’s not the same.
Anyway, lots to do in the week ahead, I think I need to set a time frame for the new online selling business as I’ll be thinking of a name next year still at this rate! Accounts to be updated today, no idea how I’m doing 😱. Dh is off to the the matrix at the cinema this afternoon which I don’t fancy so I might either do some work unless any of the kids or partners come over while the others are at the cinema.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁6 -
I agree with SC, although it might be a case of what you have in! (Often is here!). But it tastes much nicer than Domino’s IMO. Hope yours turned out well.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

I'm not surprised that you are stressed.
What is your timeline for setting up the business? A name can be quite easily changed, especially at the start of trading.
(I love Dominos pizza, it's the awful greasy mess that sometimes I just want in my life)6 -
Hi killerpeaty, I don’t know, setting a timeline would probably be a good idea 🤔
Geraldine is poorly, I went to collect dd form work earlier and she turned over but wouldn’t start ☹️ Dh has tried to jump start her but nothing’s working. Today I was feeling quite upbeat as I claimed £32 from tcb and am due £132 from our gas/electric supplier as we have switched. Ah well, at least I won’t have a problem getting to work without a car I guess, must look for he silver linings 😆MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁6 -
Sorry to hear that about Geraldine
How's DD's job going? And how are the business plans?

Hi Vix, Geraldine is working now hooray! Although I’m too nervous to drive her until we get a or rac cover 🙄 dad googled it and it might be immobiliser related.Dd is doing well at work thank you for asking, she’s doing almost everyday as the holiday cover has turned into isolation after holiday cover now, good for her, less fun doing the lions share of the dropping off and picking up. It’s a couple of hours home by bus and a 10-15 min drive she’s good and never expects a lift though but I do offer. The business plans are moving on slowly if I’m honest! I’m spending a few hours a day but I have a way to go. More or less settled on a name /brand/ rough idea of what we will supply first and lots of looking to see what’s in competitors customers baskets and what are the best selling items in similar higher end companies. I think outlay will be very minimal as we will just do a batch of samples first and packaging will be fairly low cost as we will personalise what’s available already ourselves. I’m dragging dh and his talents along for this 😁MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁8

Glad Geraldine is working! I’d thoroughly recommend Autoaid - much cheaper than aa or rac and just as good.
Glad DD’s job is going well - and she’s very good to get the bus when a lift would be so much quicker (and cheaper).
Looking forward to hearing more about the business when it’s ready to launch! 😊Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Hi vix thanks I will look at autoaid. I think I must have worked that working as I am taking dd to work a fair bit of the time, but she doesn’t expect it 🙂Hi Cath, thanks 🙂
Not been a great week, I know I’m getting very stressed out and my health anxiety which I’ve had a few times over the years seems to have returned. End result one phone call with the doctor (after an email week before) re one issue I probably should have checked anyway (all fine) . Then and a paid for gp consult by video call which I’ve never done before for issues that I shouldn’t be stressing over (again all fine and cost £30), I just didn’t want to waste my doctors time and I feel way happier now. Hopefully this will pass after a while as it has before, although I’ve never been this bad. Anyway that’s my excuse for not getting far this week with the business plans 🙄In happier news I’ve had a better day today taking dd out to get birthday bits and bobs for her boyfriend whose 30th is on Tuesday, I’m doing a “kids party” style lunch with Jelly and custard, cheese and pineapple hedgehogs etc. during the day for him then she’s off to work afterwards unfortunately, so pretty low key.Tonight I’ve splashed out money I shouldn’t be wasting, although it is from my personal spends, on 2x Emma bridgewater polka dot platters with pheasants on them, ahem £51.90 for two plus 6% tcb. It is a lot but I’ve been wanting one since the start of the year and they were well over double the price, I should have bought one but would have had to pay £5 postage so I bought two 😱 one for turkey and one for ham at Xmas is my excuse. Probably irresponsible but I’ve been very careful for obvious reasons lately and wanted cheering up!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2 -
Not to everyone’s taste I’m sure!
