Good point about the wages. But DS should definitely get his 80% then.

Happy Mothers’ Day to you, enjoy your breakfast in bed!

  • Happy mothers day.
My girls will be here... I'm hoping DD1 will bring a game to play as too much TV / phone is making GD a pain.

I've not shopped since Saturday and should hold out until this Saturday. Have run out of eggs, black pepper,  butter, frozen broccoli, on my last bin bag, one portion of potatoes left and about 2 portions of frozen fruit (have this every day for breakfast) - so I hope the shops are well-stocked when I do venture out 😯! It's definitely making me think about the best use of my freezer and focus on ingredients for several meals rather than "meal items": Veg wellingtons from Lidl, bad (bought in a panic when there wasn't much else in the shops, but take up too much room for just 2 meals); bag of frozen fish fillets, good (very flat and makes 4 meals). I also froze bananas for the first time ever, as I knew they wouldn't last until I was next planning to go shopping!
