Thanks Mrs money penny 🙂. X spender you did make me laugh 😆
Well we have an update finally, by text 😏 the staff are on 60% of their wages now which they will pay back when this is all over with. No mention of ds2 or I , I’m hoping they will pay him the governments 80% as he has asthma and shouldn’t work. Not sure if that’s how it works or if they will do that though.I have to say I’m not 100% confident about the paying it back bit as our cash flow is bad, not sure we will get full wages this month either ☹️So monthly income down by 57% 😱😱😱😱 if ds1 is laid off for a bit and can’t pay rent! Dropping to a 37% loss when (and if ) dhs wages go back up.New final plans required and not pointless ones like I usually make 😆
New priorities are:
Pay bills and buy food / petrol
Pay mortgage interest
go into lock down on spending - hang on , that will should be easy now!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁6 -
sorry to hear your news NG,
good luck with your budgets and your DH job

You're right, other than food and bills there's not much you can spend on any more. Not really any need for petrol either as there's nowhere to goMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

True! Not a great day again today, I’m often someone that likes to worry about worrying, I guess everyone is feeling the same right now though. I need some more people to fuss over so it’s a good job ds2 and girlfriend are moving back tomorrow for the foreseeable. Along with her pair of budgies, pair of finches, four rats and fish tank 🤦🏼♀️ It was the only way she would stay and ds2 will be much safer here so that’s we we are doing! So tomorrow WILL be a better day and I hope everyone is bearing up ok and fit and well 🙂MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁6

Assume it’s only 60% wages because of the cap? I’m sure they’ll have to pay all that they receive for wages out to you - govt is paying it out to keep people out of poverty.
Glad you’ll have DS2 and GF with you to keep you company! And the menagerie - you’ve just got to keep the cat out of their room now, or there’ll be more Coronavirus-related deaths!Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
