Credit card still not updated! It's now skipped aprils statement altogether and the next one showing is may! Nationwide have told me this is all due to bank holiday - it can't be as it's quite frequent. Petrol and food spends are now due a month earlier so I need to find another £142 :(

On a more positive note, I did 100 lengths after work to try and burn off the eater egg :D Also we are off to york Friday week for two nights with the boys and my parents, driving though despite the new railcards as he prices have gone up , boo! Need to now find even more money as I do want to eat out a bit, it's the first break with them for a very long time and probably will be the last for a long time knowing them :rotfl:

    Thanks vix and JD!

I'm almost tempted to start using a debit card instead but 1) it will add another month on our term as I work in arrears and 2) it's easy to keep track of spending when it's listed seperatly with online banking.

    Yesterday's list changed somewhat :o

Cheap hairdressers were not cheap at all , so I booked in for a last minute appointment at the usual place £61 plus tip for a half head - not including cut or blow dry. That has come out of the remaining birthday money though not from the super tight budget.

Yesterday's other spends from the budget were :

    £6 eyebrow threading

    £19.30 Sainsbury's top up shop

    So £396.05 left

Also popped in to see best friend who like me is piling the weight on again. We have decided to join WW (again!) when she gets back from a weeks all inclusive next week. We will join a different class as the
lady we used to go to was not brilliant and we stopped staying for meetings.

It's an added expense I don't need , but I really want to get to target for the kids birthdays in July and I don't seem to be as motivated. The gym membership will continue though, hopefully that will boost things as well as the WW :) food shopping will be cheaper though as it's all basic ingredients , plain yoghurt and salad etc. Perfect cheap Aldi shopping, no more fancy meals for me :D

Don't worry, there will be another one along in a minute :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that did make me laugh out loud , very true :p

Went to a friend's party last night, at her house. Not a posh dinner party but a good old fashioned drink loads in kitchen type one - it was a good night but I am sure I had about 50 glasses of prosecco but seem to feel fine today, maybe the vast amounts of food i ate soaked it up  dh also got quite tipsy, however as he left his phone behind (with the uber app!) we had a very long late walk home, which sobered us up.

So I had my perfect day planned today (another plan there ;))

    Cook a beef pot roast

Watch Netflix - finish stranger things

Go on iPad all day long

Go to bed early to watch agatha Christie with a cup of tea

It was to be the perfect lazy day....

However we have had NO INTERNET since Saturday :eek::eek: the boys had a poker night round a friend's last night and they are staying over and Dd is york, so the full effect of this deverstaion has not yet taken hold.

We are not like normal people with normal providers , oh no, dh pays an expensive rubbish company through the business a premium to only answer any problems mon-fri , 9-5. Last time we had a problem it took a week!

Is it reasonable to use the data from my phone all day just to waste hours online? To make matters worse all the housework and ironing is up to date, I could have wallowed all day, even tv in bed is off the menu as he mini box needs internet.

I really didn't plan anything more energetic than that, and didn't want to go out in the fresh air either, if this carries on I may have to do something "productive" :(
