Cheers mfd's , nice to see you back :)

Rang the passport office yesterday who told me it could be done online- it can't! You still to have reported it lost or send it back even if it's out of date. Have primed the boys to get photos done today but am unsure of who will counter sign if it has to be done at the post office this afternoon! The tension of it all :rotfl:

Ate pizza, Easter egg and binge watched stranger things yesterday with ds2 which was quite fun. Off to the gym/pool later.

Shopping mission for the week -

    Buy 2x gym towels

Buy another primarni £10 cabin suitcase - apparently they are like gold dust :D

So close NG! It's going to be amazing, you'll have no idea what to do with all those spare funds. :D

Is it bad that I still like step classes? (Ya know, or would if I didn't have broken foot). No shell suit though, adidas trousers from the Spice Girls era for me. :D

Not bad at all to like step classes :D as for spending money, we wont have a problem with that when the time comes :rotfl:

Indoors today, have ordered a lunchtime (until 5pm) d*minows deal 3x large pizzas for £5.99 each delivered. Mil gave dh and I £50 to go out for dinner over easter, they are now not coming over Sunday as they are out for the day in London. Sounds a bit odd to be honest as they are both retired and everything will be shut- hey ho! so I spent some of it on takeout for the kids :o

Bought some railcards today, couldn't get the 16-25 for the boys as they now need passport/driving licence ID which I haven't got yet, so I go at them a two together one, the chances are they will go together with friends anyaway so it saved £25.50. Unfortunately though it looks like I will drive as prices are a bit higher now , looking at about £136 return , it's not massive but with a cab the other end - unless walk half hour, plus buses to the station from home and tube fares, I may as well drive for £70. Really didn't want to, going by train seemed like more of an adventure :rotfl:

I guess we can take Aldi food and booze rather than walking to Waitrose next door, probably more cost effective and leave so more money for meals out

Lots of finance juggling done today, I've overspent and also worked out my figures slightly wrong last week, I neglected to allow for the loss of child benefit this summer, this is bad news as I need to cut the monthly budget to allow for it. Perhaps if I just stuck to one plan a year this would not happen :o

    April plans :

Go for a swim as much as possible -and gym (I hate the gym :p)

    Apply for passports for boys

Book Cinderella carriage for afternoon tea for Dd

Use cinema pass more, been too worn out what with the gym!

Drive to york and have a great time on as little money as I can get away with - spooky pub lunch, Indian and cocktails and the odd coffee.

    Budget £800

Food £300 - very low for us but I need to create a surplus

Petrol £200 -unusually high , but spending more due to swimming and it will cover york

    Passports £170

    Miscellaneous - 2 x birthdays, all other spending £100

£30 left to cover hair highlights and york trip and Cinderella carriage.

    Ok, this won't work :eek::eek::eek:

Oh dear, I forgot it's three birthdays to pay for and one is best friends stepdaughters 21st :o

Nothing planned for today except ironing and easter prep, the table will look good this year as I've got an Astro turf table runner lots of yellow chicks, yellow table cloths etc. Plus I made an easter hamper as top prize for a board game challenge :D nearly everything from £1land of course :money:

Watched a fabulous programme about York Minster last night and am now looking forward to going back soon, i really hope he kids enjoy York as it will be a shame if the flat stands empty nearly all the time. I don't think my parents will rent it out at all and also don't think they will do more than the odd weekend with friends a few times a year. I hope I'm wrong as it would be such a waste.....

Hope everyone had a good easter, I've seriously over indulged :eek:

Nationwide credit card is playing up again - statement showing as due to be created 1st April! This happens every month no matter how many times I ring up. So petrol spends and my grocery shop today (so far estimated £140 ish) may go on the correct month or it may get listed on a statement with a date before I spent it.....

To add to my April plans :

Lose minimum 6lb - I've quickly put on weight after gorging after I left WW - it was like getting out of prison :rotfl:

Stick to the £800 budget in whichever way I can :D

 credit card statement still showing as going to be created on the 1st april but hasn't been, if it adds some of yesterday's spends I'm going to have a problem.

On an even worse note, I just weighed myself and now have a total of 23lb left to lose out of a planned 43. I've snuck on a good half a stone since last December, terrible after doing so well :o

Taking ds1 to work today, although I will now be late as I assumed it was him in the shower, but he was tucked up in bed asleep :rotfl:
