:j good news, Tcb has just confirmed £65 for a life ins policy which had previously tracked at £0. I was not even 100% who the policy was with, but its tracked with confused.com. I think the policy itself was only £15pm so not a bad bit of extra cash, now I will be checking 100 times a day to see of its ready to pay out.

Lunch with friend and her kids was nice, I bought lollies/drinks/pizzas from mr I.,the boys played in the pool.

DH has been paid £30 more than I expected this week as well, not sure if I worked out the bank hol paydays right or not.I'm claiming it as extra though anyway.
I'm not going to op it now though until I've decided whats happening hol wise fro next year.

Today I have spent a load of money at the diy store, floor tile grout, wood etc. about £80 worth. I though dh was paying but when we got to the till I had to. So I'm not too happy, I think I may have been a bit keen to op the leftover log cabin/bathroom money as there's still bits and bobs to get. I've also had to put £25 in the car to get us to my aunts on sunday, which is a good hour away, plus chlorine and test strips for the hot tub. (£24.50)

I feel like I'm going in reverse at the moment, I can't make any op's until june now due to buying the bathroom which was not planned. The log cabin is coming on, it looks good, but I can't help feeling like its a bit of a joke, my aunt popped in this morning to look and made a comment (in jest) about it looking like gypsies had moved in :(

We do live in quite a posh area, and I have a feeling we might be "lowering the tone" 3 kids/2 cats/ a dog/ a hot tub/log cabin. Hmm maybe we are :rotfl:

Oh well, not much I can do about it. We are certainly not going to be moving anytime soon.

    hi Newgirly,

We've just got summerhouse and to start with it stuck out like a sore thumb. Now DH has vanished it which has toned down the wood, and the plants have started to grow back around, it has blended in and looks great! Give a few more weeks and it will look like its always been there!

I would so love to live in a posh part of town in a lovely house where the kids all play lovely outside in the sunshine etc and I can watch the sun setting from my lovely huge conservatory overlooking my lovely big garden that backs onto a field :) One day people one day ;)

    Ooh. I like those tiles.

Pammy - we have the nice garden backing onto a field with horses, and neighbours nextdoor but one getting drunk playing guitar and singing along badly every chance they get spoiling the peace. The dream hopefully includes some peace. ;)
