    So true though!

I think he's lucky he's got a dw who has made 10k+ vanish into the mortgage and not on a massive clothes spending spree. :D

Its all fun and games with the log cabin as they have assembled it up to the top of the doors and there is a bit missing :eek:a plank about 2ft long that goes between the window and door frame. I think it is somewhere under the millions of planks all over the garden, but dh insists its not. If we wait for a replacement it will take weeks probably and its half built. So he has decided to chop a couple of bits off the sticky out bits that are under where the roof overhangs. It should'nt notice and the part matches the missing bit exactly , but its not good is it.

last night I made a weezl bean curry, home made pilau rice and home made nan, it was ok, but not like the the indian around the corner which is what I really wanted.

I can't remember the last time we had a proper Indian takeaway, we always have the £5 curry bags from Mr A. Would love to go out for a curry though!

I'm quite good with takeaways as I dont like spicy so dont ever get tempted. We usually have a fish and chip supper once a week or fortnight which only really costs about £4 so I think I can stretch to that!.

When you talked about log cabin earlier I thought you were talking about a holiday LOL

A very busy day, the walls are up and the roof is going on now, the hot tub is in, but still a long way to go. I'm still very excited though :j

At this rate I won't want to move ever again, and will actually stay MF once I've paid all this off.

I have been bad with my daily budget and went to mr I this morning for pizzas for lunch and accidently bought loads of frozen chicken bits and bobs for the kids plus wine and beer, total spend £34, which is all my £10 a day budget for the last few days plus £4 of mondays, still after all the stress the wine is needed. I was very good and bought all meat pizzas so I would'nt be tempted on my diet as I can never refuse pizza.

I have also used the last of the log cabin budget on something rather frivolous (sp), and bought a mini jukebox from ebay, they are £200 new, but after watching it all week , I put a max bid of £55 and got it for £40, plus it was only a couple of roads away. Dh is not impressed, but I think its fab, it lights up different colours when its on :D Now we have £15 left to build a bar, so I'm looking for some cheap laminate worktop on ebay.

I hope everyone had a great sunday

Ha ha , I drew the curtains in my boys' room this morning and someone seems to have placed a shed the size of the taj mahal in my back garden :rotfl:
I have got to find out how to put photos on here, I will ask dd to help later, just to give you alll a giggle. I wonder if the neighbours are still speaking to us :D

Still on the mfw front, I did a few surveys last night, and pigsback clicks.A cheap week planned so far, meeting mum and aunt at the shopping centre to change my linen trousers in primarni, plus need to get a small present for a friends birthday.
Need to get some more baking ingredients , we seem to be getting through bags of flour, but more worryingly sugar at a rate of knots doing home baking.

Out for lunch with MIl tomorrow at the harvester, I will take money and offer but we only go about once a year and she likes to pay (when FIL is not there!)

Bast go and do some more washing before going out.

I took back my trousers today (14) that fitted, and swapped them for a size 12, which are way too tight. Its not like they were dear, but I love them and now I will have to lose weight so I can fit in them.

Bought dd and ds 2 clothes in primarni, as they are running quite low on summer stuff, its pointless buying ds1 anything as he now ONLY wears his west ham football shirts, thankfully he has quite a collection of them as he gets them for birthdays and xmas (last years main xmas present from us was a £56  top), they are good though as they dry in 5 mins and don't need ironing.

Anyway, I've spent the money for the boys school basketball lessons in primarni, now I have to persuade dh to go halves from his money with me next month. It was naughty, but I was tempted and could'nt resist. Although I have to say, I think prices in there have definatly gone up, I was looking at summer skirts for me and some were £16, a couple of years ago they used to be £5/£6. So I just bought for they kids , I need to check out the loft and see if I can squeeze in some old stuff first.

Other than that I was good, went to meet relatives in mc d's, bought the kids an icecream and did'nt even have a coffee, although my aunt asked if I was ill as I was not having anything, just said i was not thirsty. If only they knew how tight I was :D

I am about to go out with my MIL for lunch, I've just taken ds1&2 to the park as ds2's girlfriend text to say she was going with her nan and grandad, so sweet, when we arrived he just walked right past her without saying hello as he was too embarressed. They played on the swings after a while though so not a waste of time after all.

This is the second week in a row I have been looking at centerparcs, I really want to go for next years summer hol. I know michelle has just booked a weekend as well, its just so much money, the cheapest I've found when the kids are off is £1408 for a basic lodge in sherwood forest. I know they will only probably get dearer, but I don't know if I should. I could pay for it with the money I am earning from dh, (1/2 goes to op's / 1/2 for spending on whatever.)

Plus its dh's 40th next sept a few weeks after we would go, what should I do? the deposit is a huge £422 as well.

We went 2 years ago for a weekend , paid for by my parents as a surprise and it was fantastic, the kids loved it and we have always wanted to go back.

Hon, i thought they said that their prices don't go up closer to the time, so perhaps set yourself a mini challenge to save the deposit before you book it. Yes it is great there, but it is dear. I am beginning to think i was a little crazy just booking it like that, but it is done now, and i will find a way to pay and still overpay here. But, my amount is much smaller.

Any chance you just going for a weekend? If you went for a weekend in the September, then it would be a bit cheaper but obviously you wouldn't be there as long. It would be his birthday then.

Just weigh it up before you do it, as you have a lot you want to be doing and it is a big amount. (Not being a killjoy honest. ;) I just want you to be able to do all you want to.)
