Make a descision on a mini cruise for this year and just book it! experience (and price watching multiple times a day) says it's rare they drop in price as time goes on! .

Seems unlikely, there's talk of it falling to 0%:eek::eek:.

Blimey, at this rate the banks will be paying people to borrow money!
    :rotfl:

Just my luck to be a borrower in the days of 15% mortgages and a saver in the days of miniscule interest! :(

Hi GG just booked it it's a 2 nighter though so hardly worth getting the car out :rotfl: it's sept on Ventura to Bruges (again!)

I really wanted a 4 nighter on Arcadia like I've booked for 2017 but it's just too much to pay this year. Got an inside for £179 each on a saver rate and 6.06 topcashback. I did book a hotel room the night before near Southampton to stretch it out a bit, where we stayed last year for goodwood revival, got a fantastic deal £95 for one night for 2 incl. cream tea and breakfast, plus 8.08% tcb - normal room rate £117 with nothing included :D

It's the week after its dhs birthday, so he knows about the cruise but not the hotel night (aka his birthday pressie :o) plus it's our 20th anniversary two weeks prior, so now we have a proper treat :T

Thought I'd use the last Prezzo buy a gift voucher tonight as I want to start the diet properly Monday, so we are getting the bus into town to stuff our faces for free tonight :j

Lazy day today, OK meal last night but too much wine - cheap though as we went to a wetherspoons first before the meal.

The dress I ordered for next weeks christening arrived as the size 12s still don't fit :( £19.99 spent incl delivery, it does look nice though coffee coloured with black polka dot fifties style, to be worn with lots of pearls :D

It has however reminded me that no weight has been lost for a long time now! If I set a target date (usually an event) to lose weight by it doesn't happen, if I just tell myself I'll do it gradually over time - well it still doesn't happen :o

I need to man up and stop giving myself excuses all the time! So I am setting out a list of named objectives that I will succeed at doing (not attempt!) for the next 100 days:

    Alcohol max twice a week

At least 2 litres of water drunk a day

No fizzy ever! (Except tonic when required :p)

Weigh in max once a week (Monday morning)

Eat healthy homemade food or fruit/veg/nuts for 90% of the time

Ditch the diet ready meals / slim shakes etc.

Sleep minimum 7 hours a night

1400 cals a day 5 days a week 1700 cals the other 2 (need a reason to look forward to the weekend :D)

Start excercing again once I've adjusted to the new plan

The target is to lose 30lb ( may adjust that after weigh in tomorrow) it doesn't matter if it takes longer than 100 days, but it would be good to get as close to that as possible.

First step tomorrow is to buy little snack pots for myself - loads of them from £1land hopefully, and some nuts and dried fruit, I'll weigh out snacks in little portions and then not be tempted to sign up to graze boxes , which too often get eaten very fast!

    Tomorrows breakfast:

1 large tomato with half an avocado and a spring onion all chopped up on one slice wholemeal toast.

    Lunch:

    Salad with 2x boiled eggs

    Dinner:

Butter beans in chilli garlic tomato sauce on a bed of uncooked spinach

    Snacks :

Apple , banana , homemade salted popcorn portion- no oil, diet hot chocolate, low fat Greek yoghurt.

Cruise sounds nice. :) What year Elan has your father bought? :D

If what you've posted on here is a typical day's food, I'd say you're eating too much. Quit the snacks apart from fruit and just have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast sounds really nice and my wife was looking for something different but quick to make so we may try that at some point. :)

Not sure which year Alex, 1960's though.

I am eating way more than that normally Alex :p calorie wise that's under 1400! Breakfast 160 cals, lunch 220 cals , dinner 250cals snacks - fruit 180, yoghurt 55, hot chocolate 39 and popcorn 100.

Good job I've not listed what I've had this weekend :rotfl:

Day one successful, swapped popcorn for some grapes but otherwise stuck to it :D

Prom tomorrow, and also dds fundraising night at the theatre! The only two important nights for ages and they clash. We will see the boys off to prom and then go up to London for the last hour to dds do, they have managed to get a game of thrones actor to do a pitch whilst there, he's quite famous but I don't watch it :o

Prom trousers too long x2  I did know just forgot, so I have cut and wonder webbed them, should be ok for a night :D we have one friendstaying over tomorrow but they are all off to an " after party" at midnight, I always wait up for the kids if they go out or collect them, but I can't wait up all night when I have work, there are three of them walking home together but I still worry.

Big aldi shop done this morning £49 from current account, as I've spent this months budget already. Need to buy christening pressie for best friends little one, they have over 130 going  so I thought practical rather than keepsake type stuff, thinking of going for a pop up tent or a sandpit as he is already 18months.

I'm not a massive Lotus fan but can't deny the original Elan is a very pretty car. :) Does it drive nicely?

He has not collected it yet Alex, it needed new brake something or others first, as soon as he does I'll be round though :D

Prom done, theatre fundraiser done. Phew, just Alton towers and a christening to go now. My internal alarm clock woke me up at 3.55 and the boys pulled up at 4 am as they said they would - and sober! It doesn't get better behaved than that, they certainly don't take after their mother :rotfl:

Day three of weight loss challenge today, first two days very good except alcohol last night at the theatre thing, I've given up listing food on mfp and as I'm not weighing every day in the hope that it becomes a more natural thing to know what to eat, we will see how that goes!
