There are some fabulous airbnb places. Self contained for families worldwide, and not just rooms in (my) peoples lofts.
My teenagers were never really that good on our holidays. They tended to be quite grumpy, introverted and expensive. WiFi was a god send!Mortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Glad that the family had a happy Christmas NG
Another juicer here, I picked up an overpowered Ost3r V3rsa blender in one of the sales and have to say that it's a well built machine, even if it does sound like a plane taking off every time I use it!
My typical sort of juice is kale, cucumber, an apple, half a banana, celery, ginger and a glass of water. Surprisingly enough, it's a lot eaiser on the stomach than I'd expected. Really should add some turmeric in there....0 -

I'm also a juicer and a nutri bullet user (though debating getting rid of my one) - my best juice is ginger and carrot shots first thing.. certainly wakes up your throat!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Blimey what a healthy bunch you lot are
I'm trying to ease into healthy eating before jan 1st, did ok yesterday until the red wine and honey jack daniels last night
Breakfast today, 1 slice seeded toast with mashed avocado, lovelyHave been reading healthy happy hungry blog , its by a lady who has lost 98lb by eating clean and excercising but its a lifestyle type thing rather than a weight loss blog, which is what i am trying to do.
I don't care how long it takes to lose weight but it has to stay off this time, the problem I am having is working out what cals to have per day, some calculators say i need 2600 to stay the same weight and to cut out 500 to lose which seems a lot, others like mfp say 1345 a huge difference. I want to lose 40lb in total.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

I don't know enough (yet) to offer "official" advice but if you don't eat enough then your body burns lean muscle rather than fat, if you are wanting to lose weight then this is obviously not the way to go about it. I was under-eating by about 800 calories a day and am meant to eat around 2500-2800 depending on what I am doing, I am finding this really hard and am still not eating enough. When I did what I was advised I started losing 1kg a week which helped me see that what the pros say makes sense. The problem is keeping my mind as motivated to eat healthily as my body. Even though I don't enjoy chocolate, cakes and bisuits as much as I used to my mind remembers the enjoyment, I give in to it and then wonder why I bothered! We should all motivate each otherMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Why not just start with a number and see what happens adjust from there or start reducing from your current intake till it starts coming off
going under 1500 start to head towards min to survive without issue unless small.
500 on 2600 is less than 20% reduction0 -
Thats interesting aj, there is a guy I work with who is on weightwatchers and the weeks he under ate did not lose which does seem unbelievable as he is well over 20 st, it would be nice to not monitor calories at all and automatically eat thr right amount, I am a way off that now though.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

There is science behind the 'if you don't eat enough, you don't lose' - like your body going into starvation mode.
I find mfp hard as the cals seem too low, I'm thinking slimming world as I think you can eat without measurement, but it's good stuff.
I actually got to a point one year where I wasn't counting or weighing anything, quit processed and packaged food and lost nearly 5 stone (then I met DH - all his fault it went back on) :-)
Good luck!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
