Had the girls round for a secret santa tonight, there are five of us and I have picked the same name for the last four years! This year I got malteser reindeeer and a mini hot water bottle with matching socks
Out tomorrow to a posh gastro pub with 2x girlfriends that appears on "towie", living it up this week :rotfl:
Food budget getting squeeky, will update tomorrow, petrol ok.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Mrs K used to like TOWIE when we had a TV (yes, I confess my wife used to like trash TV), goodness knows why, perhaps showing her roots ...:o2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
For a minute Newgirly I thought it was your friends that appeared on towie! Hope you are feeling more relaxed and positive about things.
Health wise, we plan to start juicing in the new year, am hoping Santa brings me a nutri bullet!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
TOWIE! fab.
Are you getting enough sleep? I had to do epic sleeping and pretty much give up booze before I could even CONTEMPLATE dieting.0 -
I only started watching about a year ago, afetr 10 years of my friends nagging me to, now I watch it nobody else does, terrible tv but I love it, plus its always spot places you know
Cath, I am of the wrong skin tone to be on towie (ie. Not orange!) plus am more likely to be walking the dog in a jumper and leggings not stilletoes and a peplum dress :rotfl:
Shs you are an inspiration at the moment, but no i am sleeping less, have a very busy couple of weeks am drinking plenty and last night had chilli peanuts for dinnerStrangley I have no put weight on and have lost a couple of pounds, weigh in day for my 3 month so called challenge (have made virually zero effort) is next tuesday , so far out of the 1 and a half stones target i have lost 5 and a half pounds. Pretty bad.
Cath my mum has a nutri bullet, it really is m7ch better than a blender, i tried to prove a point that they are the same, blended some spinach and fruit put it in little mini glass milk bottles in the fridge to chill and when i took it out it was solid , that doesn't happen with the bullet. Hmm maybe mum is bored with it already, iit may have ended up in the garage with the jam maker/soup maker etc.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
5 and a half pounds you would not have lost if you didn't try.
In fact you may have gained some without your challenge so you are maybe half a stone lighter than you might have been.0 -
Thanks shs, I guess so!MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Manic and expensive week , all budgeted for though. Lovely dinner last night at the local indian restaurant, we paid this time for the 4 of us. Posh and disappointing meal at the towie place thurs, not friendly would not do a request, I asked to swap something on the set menu, and then they accidently forgot to put everything on the bill. I thought we should own up but was over ruled by a friend, so we paid the bill left a big tip and left quick
Mr t meal deal tonight, glass of wine in hand, just had a long soak and put the onesie on ready for dinner and strictly - heaven :. Have plugged in the now tv box to the loft room and will log in to dd's account and get sky movies, so a really relaxing night hopefully, have over done it this week.
Family over for the pre xmas , xmas dinner tomorrow, turkey crown, leg of lamb all the trimmings cheese and biscuits , port , multiple desserts and loads of wine. Then a family viewing of national lampoons xmas vacation as its tradition, Just need to get up early to get everything cooked and tidied.
Finances bugging me a lot this week, dh should have a few £100 pm extra when his wages get changed, which is fantastic. So what to do ? op it all? Live off a bit extra (will need a bit extra as ds1 is having maths tuition which was £30 ph for dd 3 years ago) save it ? - we are terrible at saving!
When the term is so short even a lot of money pm does not knock much off , its hard to decide the balance.
Food budget will run out, need to check but I think i have around £20 ish left until the 31st so will definatly go over, on the bright side its still less than we would have spent. Need to do my 2016 budget and have no real feel for what to do , go all out with the oping , hold some back (after paying what we need to clear in term naturally) Its a nice dilemma to have but I can't decide what to do.
A did read in a fellow mfw's diary that they were joining the mfi3 t4 challenge , I joined the last one but did not update, very bad. But is it really time for a new challenge as it seems way too soon, I can't find the thread at the moment, does anybody know?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Cheers cath will look and join (and update this time!)
Xmas dinner went ok yesterday , I did it the lazy way and used frozen spuds , new ones by mc ca*n which were actually pretty close to the real thing. Nobody had the cheese and port, so that was a bit of a waste of the grocery budget even if dh will hoover it up this week.
Albert hall tonght for carols and work today but with a midday appointment for ds2 at the orthadontist to see if he needs a brace. Busy week again and presents have not been located and wrapped, very slack! I did order some very cheap perfume for me for xmas - alien 60ml edp £30 free delivery from sports direct , usually about £70 per bottle :T love this and have just run out so am using dd's
Weight loss 0 , roast dinner and salted caramel cheesecake doesn't help.
