Does it need to be decorated? That's the deciding factor in my opinion.

If not a lemon drizzle is easy and looks good.

If it does need decorating I'd say buy it! You can buy coloured icing ready made but I'd say it doesn't cost less than buying and isn't as easy as it looks on you tube to make a fancy decoration!

Hi bluefire sorry i missed your post before, that does sound delicious In the end I opted for a lceland chocolate gataeux , he loves that sort of thing and it was only £3.50.

Lazy day today, cooked a veggie shephards pie, 3x veggie curries and did the kids roast dinner for today and tomorrow.

Currently samplng the £2.99 red wine (not as good as the white!) and watching a free trial of 24 on sky.

Wow a big difference at work with less staff, lots more to do and its one of our busiest weeks :eek:

Spag bol ready for dh when he gets in, followed by presents and gateaux. I shan't be joining him as im trying to lose weight AGAIN :rotfl: 3lb gone this week :j I'm trying to get my friend at work to join me, he has this week but struggles and needs to lose 10 stones. I'm hoping i can help him and vice versa.
