Good news about the Op.
I should just put the day's food behind you and start afresh.0 -
Visited gran and she is ok but in quite a bit of pain poor thing
Too much food eaten today again, not a horrific amount but more than I should have. I think perhaps a bit of exercise wouldn't go amiss, so as of tomorrow im going to exercise for a minimum of 20mins a day. It not much but I'd rather get into the habit regularly even when I'm working, although weekends off perhaps
So as of tomorrow I start doing the shred
The house smells divine tonight as the xmas cake is baking away, not sure how it will be as i didn't adjust for the fan oven, oops!

Shred day two completed, very achey now
total weight loss zero and i've put on a quarter of a pound this week. Overall i was much better than the week before when i lost 3 lb.
I've been eating mr t low cal veggie frozen dinners , they are two for £3 and although dearer than making my own meals , its nice to have a change and they are very convinient.
I can use the cc again on thursday thank goodness, i might work out a monthly foodplan as the budget is going down for the month. The spending diary needs updating everyday so more effort is neededMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Poor NG, you have really been through the wringer since I last posted on your thread!
Still, you are holding up like a trooper and there is nary a trace of a whinge :T
I am extremely impressed with the mature way that you have come around to pretty solid budgeting and the way in which the family has rallied round. All the best to DH, he has it particularly tough at present and sounds like he is worth his weight in gold
Ps. You might not have picked up on it yourself, but you have developed a totally different tone in your posts. No longer is it 'oh dear, wittle owd me has blown the budget on a treat'! You have morphed into a robust 'things are tough, but I'm sorting it, dammit!' :rotfl:0 -
Ah bless you Ed, what a lovely thing to read after a very long day
I am blushing a bit now :rotfl:
You are very right my dh has been an absolute star lately :T its been a very uncomfortable couple of weeks at work, but strangely more calm at home, I guess in a weird way the stress of keeping up appearences has lifted.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Can't do the shred this morning, work was really hard especially when i couldn't bend down :rotfl: so i temporarily quit. I will focus on the food side of things for the next few days at least.
We are away fri and the kids are staying at my parents which means lots of packing. As usual dh informs me we dont need much its only a couple of days. Hmm, like he ever packs
Anyway the big news is, drumroll........i'm going to put little eric up for sale
I obviously don't want to, and at the moment we are just about ticking over but i don't drive him as much as expected and its not winter yet, i will drive him less then. If i was better off i would keep him tucked away to get out in the summer, year after year. But right now it feels selfish. I know how bad it will be everytime i see a mini thoughMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
