Very sorry to hear about your gran - my gran has dementia and she doesn't know who I am which is hard. She likes me though, which is nice as since she started with dementia she hardly likes anyone and she's very very rude.

As for walks can highly recommend have been taking my dds out after tea to wear them out before bed, share quality talk about their school day etc. I haven't lost any weight, but I haven't put on - that counts right?

Hi sarahevie sorry to hear about your gran, its like the filter gets removed and they say whatever they want! Well done with the walking , no weight gain is a plus point :D

Thanks Alex, will start looking in to selling the car next week :)

Argh I'm tired. Dh took the dog to his.parents and got back really late while.i cleaned the house and did all the packing, then he woke me up really early as he couldnt sleep. Sounds terrible but i'm not looking forward to it all at the moment, i just feel pretty stressed out.

I checked all the accounts last night and i want to try and top up all my savings pots from when i started in july. Birthday , xmas etc. If i do that i won't have enough for.the car ins. next month. So as I'm doing a mini challenge anyway to reduce grocery spending this month, if i extend it to next month i can cover the ins. on the 7 seater this year.

    Grocery £400 to £300 for 2 months
Everything else budget £165 to £145 for 2 months.

I think I may have used a little of the savings pot to buy erics car tax too :o I want to try not to borrow from the wrong pots just yet as they have only been going three months so theres not a big cushion.

Oh dear, woken at 5am by the alarm i set on my tablet for the boot sale weeks ago :o.

Hotel is amazing, huge gardens with a koi pond and croquet and a really lovely suite.Goodwood revival was great, I have never seen so many classics in one place, Alex really needs to go if he hasn't already been, i must have seen at least 50 virtually concours e types in the car park :D

So many stalls selling vintage stuff, even rolex's and cars. When we get home I'm going to do some research as i think it would be worth us trying to sell/advertise there next year. Our products are bespoke and expensive so they may well fit in.
I guess it all comes down to cost, but i think its worth a go.

Dinner last night came to £91 in the hotel, didn't realise when I signed for it until later as i thought i was just signing for the wine, after a stressful 5 mins i found the conformation email on my mobile and it was part of the package deal both nights, phew! Will talk to reception later.

Will get up soon, have breakfast and head back, washing awaits!

I love koi ponds. I may fit one if we ever get a large enough garden. It would, however, need to be a hippy pond with insulation etc. as I'm told that a proper old school pond is like having a second mortgage

Enjoy the break, hope you're relaxing better now :)

Really consider ponds having a child. When miniocc was born I immediately insisted that my mum remove her pond. This may sound unreasonable but I know of 2 people whose toddlers have drowned in ponds. 1 not well, just someone who lived in our village the other a colleague who got the awful news whilst at work. I'll never forget his face as he walked past my desk.

Both involved the parent turning their back/not concentrating for a minute or so. I don't know about you but I couldn't say i concentrate 100% of the time no matter how hard I try.

Evidently I'm not a fan of ponds in homes with kids.

If you do decide to take a stall next year you do realise you'd have to put the weekend down as business expenses :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

OCC, I couldn't fit a pond in our new house garden anyway, so please don't worry about DD being left to fall in! This is a forever home project for when I am an old geezer :)
