Interesting question Newgirly. I think you have surprised a few of us.

Now I do really wonder where our money is going! I suspect ours is nursery costs so have to up the ante on the cc repayments with all that spare money now that they have massively reduced.

Nursery costs are like a 2nd mortgage!!!! Totally nuts! My 2 are I. School now and as the childcare costs come down its great to have a bit more income. When ours finished nursery we moved house and it was ok because we'd shunted our lifestyle already. Gotta look at the bonus!!!

Absolutely, this last year they were about £650 a month, this year from next month will be £350 and next year £100 just for breakfast club.

We plan to extend once we are down to £100 a month. I can....not.....wait.

Eric is fixed :j £7.50 on a clutch something or other and about 30 mins of dads time. Its a one time only help out as he doesnt like getting greasy now. :D

Ive been mulling over an idea with dd today, she is very busy but wants to earn extra without being tied to set hours so she can get work placements when they arise. I just need more money.

We went through many options and the worked our way through ebay selling ideas, i know a couple of people who sell, outsize clothing etc. But both thought vintage style clothing might be worth a go, we both wear it sometimes, and could mix retro new fashion with genuine second hand items. I have run clothes shops in the past and we even had a market stall once.

Dd is a whizz at design and has her own blogs and writes reviews for different online radio and student places, plus does a lot of promotional work at the theatres. She can build a website and connect it all up with other social media, im thinking we can start online and then perhaps work towards a few odd summer promotional summer vintage\car\clothes fairs.

Money and suppliers are the major hurdles to look at before starting to put a plan together, but i cant seee why we cant start offf small and see what happens.
