My DS's play station broke today! He is bereft but I'm thinking this might be the making of him and he might actually come through the other side and appreciate how much time it sucks up. If it can't be repaired its a long way til Christmas!0

To be honest when they were younger i did used to remove them quite often. Now they are older i let them regulate themselves (in the holidays) sometimes they are glued to them, somtimes i come home and they are arguing over monopolyMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
It's a toughie isn't it, screen time - my two don't use them and I feel like they should because of how teccy the world is these days, I feel like it's a slippery slope if I start on it, they'll be gone (so dramatic)!!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

You are so right, mine didn't have them until they were older than their peers and could only play less violent games. At 15 though its now different, its how lots of them socialise with each other, how old are your two?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

A quiet afternoon, dd is herway home and has an interview at another theatre (the furthest one she has been at are being very difficult, expecting her there every day and night ) this one is nearer our side of london and is quite a new concept type place - fingers crossed!
Anyway, ive had a look on some mortgage calculators as our bs recently turned us down on affordability to extend the terms. They did say they would take dhs wages in to account even though he is sole shareholder of the company (that has been making a loss) but we still failed affordability.
I went on our bs calculator and they will lend up to £55,500 k even if we clear our 0% ccs (£7800) however putting the same figures into the nw site (with dh as a director with more than 20% holding) we can borrow up to £132,700. In both cases i have included the 35k loan we have too.
Now im thinking would it be more prudent to clear the ccs in time for when our deal ends in july 2016, we could also potentialy get the mortgage balance down from £136,500 to £125,300. There are clearly no guarantees but im shocked at the fact such a relatively small balance on the cards makes a big difference . nw would go up to £102,900 with the cc balances still unpaid. Both situations way above what chelsea would offer.
Its opposite to my plan to just pay the mortgage , but i think it may be worth a shot ?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Being the impatient person i am , ive done an application in principle with nw to see if we would pass , we did'nt! Another idea bites the dust , stick with the origional plan i guessMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
