I have £81 left to spend until the 9th of july, I had a £40 mr t shop last night which was mostly fruit and veg so that won't last long , can't see how I can not go over budget this month now. I suppose I should just be grateful that I can take a bit from the current account if I need to.
We are going to see Fleetwood Mac at the o2 tomorrow , I bought dh astronomically expensive tickets to sit at the back for Xmas , not sure about a meal first that will have to be up to dh as I'm quite short now.:o
Healthy eating going well, I'm trying to do as much "clean food" as possible, apparently its eating unprocessed, which I used to do more of before I went back to work, I was way more organised then.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

I'm pooped today, Fleetwood mac went on for three hours, then the dog woke us up barking like a loony in the night.. Dh loved it but it wasn't really my cup of tea although they played well. The station caspoint swallowed my current acct card on the way so dh bought dinner at pizza express.
Today I'm off to lakeside to try and buy a bag to go with my spotty dress I'm wearing tomorrow, only a cheapie though! Then aldi to buy the picnic for nine too although I've been given £50 from everyone to pay for it . then off to visit gran in the rehab shelter place ,then home to get delivery of our new dining chairs by 2pm.
The house is a bomb site, the car ( we are driving on Friday) is filthy and full of toot and I have loads of washing too.:(
I need to sort my life out :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
I'm trying to eat clean food as well, though it's devinitely hard while working full time.
So I'm just opting for easy things - not peeling veg unless I have to, using 'quick' ingredients ie. couscous, eggs.... anything that'll only take about five mins.
Have you found anything in particular foodwise that's working for you?a penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
Have only just started pearla , but have been eating brown rice and veggie salad with chilli oil and lemon juice , fruit and lots of low fat natural and Greek yoghurt. Its time consuming though so it will be a work in progress I think
Busy day today, all food shopping for tomorrow done, gran visited, expensive handbag bought (£3.50!) Fake tan on and nails done. Just need to clean the whole house and do some washing and ironing tomorrow morning as dh has kindly offered everyone to meet at our house ,just what I needed when I'm tired busy and way behind on housework
But for tonight its feet up and HannibalMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
Had a great day at the horses, didn't bet and took a huge picnic and drink ,so it was just a few cocktails spending wise, not too bad
I've way overspent and its the kids birthdays x3 in July , so I need to set a super tight budget.
