Hi New Girly - sorry for poking my beak in here but I have to say I find you and your story/blog inspirational - one of the reasons I started doing this myself. Unless getmore4less is your bank manager I'm not sure why they feel the need to interrogate and judge you like this (it's quite astonished me!). Very unusual as the tone of the MFW board is normally so supportive.1

I'm another one inspired by your diary Newgirly. Life has thrown you ups and downs this past few years but you've remained faithful to your goal.MFW Target Jan 2016 Sub €100k

That's very kind Pushkin, I guess posting so much stuff opens you up to being judged good or bad , but thanks for popping in to read even if I am a bit of a mortgage free charlatan :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

I third, fourth what everyone else has said. This journey would be so easy if we said I'm going to do this in x amount of years etc, but life isn't like that. I love your diary. You keep doing what you're doing0

Dh off on a meeting with what could be a very good new large client, all the way over the new forest though , so he's got the car as the electric van might run out of juice.
I've won a coffee table on fleabay for the living room , a 1970's astro g plan, from the tart up the house budget. It was expensive (£100:eek:) but everything else Ive bought was very cheap and a like it.The main living\dining room conservatory is paid for now. £450 for 8 new chairs ,a side board, coffee table , three large pictures ,paint and brushes, table runner ,candle holders, five cushions. Im Very pleased with how its coming on
Out for coffee with two friends this morning, will not be eating out at all , and then off to aldi to get some rolls and ham for my other friend who is coming to lunch. So a good day and no work, the factory was soooo hot yesterday , I feel like I should have lost a couple of stones.
In vegetable news : one lovely shiny courgette ,and lots of little green tomatoes so far :TMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -
