No internet access last night, its very annoying when you are looking forward to a good catch up on mse.

The boys birthday party was fantastic, very helpful staff unlimited drinks good food and all for £45 plus cashback.:money:

Unfortunatly just before we were about to go to the party, dh parked our car on the road outside our house and at some point a bus has hit it, HUGE dent all down one side and front wing, plus lots of red chalky paint, no eyewitnesses, and the bus co. say unless their driver reports it (he did'nt stop) they can't do anything. I have an accident form to fill in from them , but it looks like we will have to claim.:( There are buses literally every 5-10 mins so its not like we could work out which one it was even.

Anyway, theres not much point in getting to upset over it, we are off to centerparcs tomorrow, clothes are packed which is a first before midnight the night before! I want to cook while we are there, so need to buy and pack food to take, the car has petrol, but there is not really spending money this time.

Still not finished packing to go, dh dropped th dog at his parents last night and ended up having a big row with his dad who was rude to the kids again. Not great all round really, kids are fine but dh is upset/angry, its very out of character for dh he is definatly one to let things go and not cause a fuss.

I have been through the accts and wondered why I can make no payments this month, the realised that the payments for each month are basically coming out of nexts months wages, doh! they have been all along.:D

    Update to follow.

  • Enjoy Center Parcs :T

We loved going when the kids were younger and are thinking of booking for a long weekend in February when the weather is miserable.

Thanks for the good wishes :D

Its a possibility if I don't go out and blow a lot on dh's 40th on the 1st sept, that we could clear the cc in full next month :j
It would be the first time in at least 15 yrs that we don't have cc debt, 3 or 4 years ago we owed well over 20k, I never knew the full amount we owed but possibly closer to 25k really if I'm honest!

It will be a corner turned for sure, and mainly thanks to mse :money:

That will be a truly fantastic feeling - it feels like a weight on your shoulders (that's how I feel about our mortgage).

Even if you slip a month or two due to DHs birthday, you will be CC debt free by Christmas which is brilliant. You will have fun deciding how much of the CC money you are going to OP - its a never ending cycle. Mr Tilly and I spoke the other night about what we will do when we are MF and after so many years, I can't believe we ever will be.

    Good luck Tilly

This is a magnificent achievement, on top of all elese you have done. I hope you're suitably proud of yourself :T:T:T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
