  • i cant format is a basic fat. when i right click drive-format i can do fat32, ntfs and ex fat

FAT32 will be fine, no reason whatsoever that your pendrive wont take it, or your player won't see & use it ok !

    Forget exFat support
    Forget NTFS support

Id done all combinations yday, select fat32 and cluster 4096. Decided to try it again and do Quick Format because I dont want to wait over an hour and find it didnt work.

    Well its done the trick.

I wouldn't have thought there were that many reasons to still want to use Outlook Express anymore?

    Win7 will not do 32bit
    FAIL
    Vista - That's the same O/S as Win7
    FAIL
every copy of Win7 still has a working Outlook Express hidden and usable.
    FAIL.

You know nothing about computers. Please stop posting misleading nonsense.

Yeh, this machine is x64, but even the [ if I remember correctly ] x86 O/S won't deal with 32bit format.
I assume ' billy boy ' decided to make try to sure only NTFS drives would be supported, of course if you plug any 32bit into Win7 / HDD / USB / whatever it just works.

It's the same as he decided to force everyone into ' live mail ' but every copy of Win7 still has a working Outlook Express hidden and usable.

No, it hasn't not unless you use a Vista patch on it, so as Poppy says STOP MISLEADING PEOPLE

I didn't say you would not have to patch it I just avoided giving any more information.

I did say it was there and would work, and it is there, and it does work !, I'm using it.

I'm not misleading people, I'm using it, both yourself and poppy [ I used ( past tense ) to think poppy knew her stuff ] are posting like a pair of 10 year old aggressive schoolies.

The fact, and it is a fact that I'm using it puts poppys " FAIL FAIL FAIL " into the bin doesn't it.

The fact, and it is a fact that I'm using it puts poppys '' You know nothing about computers. Please stop posting misleading nonsense '' into the bin doesn't it.

Now to poppy, have a look if you know how to, the sub and the whole structure is there, it just needs ownership, if you know how to ! I dont recall ever meeting you let alone having the [dis] pleasure of ever having worked with you, so what qualifies to to say " You know nothing about computers. Please stop posting misleading nonsense "

Poppy, your aggressive, wholly bucolic and deliberately eye catching styled post, with infest-iminal real input, and a very pedestrian argument lets you down.

maladie de fin de siecle perhaps ?

    FAIL.

    - covered that, subject dead.

    - in terms of the destructive thread, this is turning into a 30 year old BBoard ' flame war ' nowt to do with the O/P's issue. Any time now we will have to put out the ' no feeding signs ' or they are going to start slithering in from the USENET looking for food.
