Cameron will definately come out last place. Quite simply, I feel, because of the massive glut of people who will feel they need to vote for Brown as they stand behind labour no matter what.
I'll go Clegg, 51%, Brown 32%, Cameron 17%.
all the instant polls will show is how quick party activists are with text messages.
surprised lord ashcroft didn't just buy a load of PAYG phones and give them to some tory youth lot.0 -
Cameron looks like he has spent the money he has saved from being "wasted" on a make over! I've never seen a face that is so still0

One person could have done that, it was so staged it gave us nothing.
If they are going to have a debate then at least allow the audience to put them "on the spot", put them under pressure........
Total waste of time and money, glad I bothered to watch the last 15 mins......0 -

Like with any poll, it's who will feel compelled to answer it that counts.
I'll go Clegg, 51%, Brown 32%, Cameron 17%.
I think you're right about people voting for Brown just because they always stand behind Labour, that is exactly how most people in my area seem to think, especially the older ones. No matter what Labour has done in the past 13 years, they still can't bring themselves to vote for anyone else.Everyone I know wants to be a millionaire.
Not me, I want to be a billionaire.0 -
Well I just sat through the whole thing and got to agree that Clegg came off best.
Agree about Brown's constant lieing being very annoying. What was more annoying was that neither Clegg or Call Me Dave picked him up on it.0 -
I enjoyed my slapping

Clegg was either very honest & 'good' or very well practiced. Too much positive body language etc. to be natural.
I had fairly low expectations of Brown but thought he came across quite well.
Cameron started off ok but was really irritating by the end. I will try to vote for policies but can't bear the thought of 5 years of that smug, shiny, botoxed face. (Sorry Mr C's mummy if you're reading this).
I think thats quite frustrating tbh. I would agree he has a very smug look, but then, so did Blair!
I think to vote on policies, whoever you agree with, is much better than voting on looks and smarm.0 -
so these comments are political right?lostinrates wrote: »I'm not sure I agree, wholly.. One person in this thread at least has had curiosity piqued and is researching parties now...lots of us are already politically curious.Clegg was the winner in terms of how well they came across.
this election isn't X-Factor and what song you choose or analysing body language - it's about addressing the issues in the UKI'm quite impressed with Gordon. Cameron looks uncomfortable & I think Clegg is over-acting0 -
They are giving the results of the opinion polls on the news it just said. After they talk about the bl00dy ash again! Who cares? Apart from people who've missed their flights of course lol
as an asthmatic me actually. volcanic emissions are pretty nasty for those of us weak of lung.:eek:Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -
We should have done this debate more like Britains Got Talent, a big fat buzzer goes off when they lie though...

That's my point. Hence why Cameron will always have come last.
Clegg will always have come first, even the news stated this before the show, because he's got the chance to actually say something, and he's detached from the "usual suspects".0
