Morning all:D
Not been on since weekend as was working mon and Tues. When I got in at teatime on Tues I got a sharp pain in my left side and it got worse and worse and I was unable to move and couldnt breathe properly:o....I was panicking a bit incase I had a pneumothorax or was having a PE or something( typical nurse) so rang NHS direct to speak to another medical person to put mymind at rest and they said I had probably pulled something but it would now seem I have cracked a rib....not sure how?
The painkillers take it away but as soon as they wear off I cant move with he pain. I had to grin and bear it yesterday as it was DS`s day for doing the hospital radio so I had to just get on with it:(......he didnt seem to know what was going on really and I had to take him away after an hour as he was getting giddy and shouting "Galaxy radio with james barr" etc when he was supposed to be being quiet:o:rotfl:
I am browned off to be honest...am in pain and hardly had any sleep for over a week and at snapping point:eek:I just want a bit of peace and quiet again and to get the house sorted. Am trying to summon up the enthusiasm now to do some baking with DS but have just had enough really of the whole holiday behaviour thing.
Hugs to anyone else needing them and sorry for being a moaning moo:o;)0 -
NoahsPennilessMummy please don't apologise for having a moan, we all need to rant occasionally. Could you not ask your GP for a short course of sleeping tablets, just so you can catch up on sleep. Pain is always worse when you are tired. Big hugs being sent your way.
xxxxxxxxxxHmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!0 -
Hi Jellybaby.....it is not insomnia stopping me sleeping it is my 6 year old who has autism:rotfl:he doesnt sleep well anyway but school hols make him even worse.:eek:0

GoodMorning.
Peace reigns in the JackieG household today. We'll see how long it is still they start a fight today;). Bless 'em, they're sat on the couch cuddling right now!
Late up this morning I have a huge headache, have taken some paracetamol and some green tea, so hopefully it will go soon. Not many plans for today, it's payday for me too, but my wages disappear as soon as they go in to pay all the bill for the month, but at least it's nice to know they're paid.
I will probably do a bit of baking and make something for dinner. I got loads of Kiwis and 2 pineapples in the fridge. I normally don't buy Kiwi because of the air miles, but they were super6 in Aldi this week, and beggars can't be choosers? So they will be nice for a wee change. Might do a pavlova and some ice cream of a custardy thing with the yolks. Don't need them, neither does my big belly, but I fancy making something special. Dinner will be freezer special, I think I have some frozen chickpeas so might make a curry. Oh, in fact I think I'll do HM pizza for the boys and pakora/bhaji for us.
Have a lovely day, Diva, snoozer, Pennypincher and anyone else who's poorly, take care, and have a big hug from me!
ETA Special hug for NPM, my two are driving me nuts, main reason being that DS1 is Asperger's child, and can't cope with the change in routine, and is being a right royal pain in the 4rse, so I feel some of your pain.

thanks everyone for your thoughts:A.
I am going to get him baking in a moment to try to occupy him. I am starting to run out of ideas for what to do as he really just wants his routine back as you will know Jackie;)0 -
Oh BB I'm sorry I did they were delicious, a nice change! I had them with lemon curd in them, which shouldn't work, but was mega yum! Thank you, I've saved the recipe to my favourite. I used braeburn apples, which were quite sharp. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Morning peeps
cold and dull here today but the bitey wind that we had yesterday has gone so it dosen`t seem as bad atm.
I almost feel guiltyi managed to get seven hours of sleep last night for the first time in a good while. I`ve not slept properly for over two weeks and i was getting run down and lifeless but today i feel tons better
NPM - I feel for you, have a few ((((HUGS)))) and i hope that everything is back to normal for you soon. at the rib, hope that`s sorted quickly as the pain must be awful.
Hester - Hope that you get the expenses situation sorted quickly, my payslip has just arrived through the door and there is a weird adjustment on it which i don`t understand so i shall be on the phone to them later - especially as its something thats been taken off rather than put one.
Its been changeable for a while but after ringing a couple of months ago and mentioning that i would expect any bank charges and overdraft fees to be paid by the company things have been much better.
Taplady - Sorry to hear that the birds haven`t returned. Make sure that you take a picture of Bertha before she leaves you!
Stroppy - Great news re the test results, hope that your GF`s are as good.
Right must make a move as the kitchen needs a scrub and then i have to go and scrub me before w*rk. Both houndies are snoozing away happily after their walk which means that its peaceful here once again. Think i shall pop the radio on for a while.
Have a good day everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0
