  • I'm planning on wearing multi coloured shoes too.
I made the mistake of telling my mum this though, and she sounded less than impressed. So now I'm going to keep quiet until the day, by then it'll be too late :D

Oh to have got married on a beach in Barbados as originally planned........

Don't go thinking that is simpler! I'm getting wed in rhodes and the paper work is really stressing me out. We need everything with certified copies, all legalised somewhere in milton keynes. I've got to fit my dress in a certain sized box and h2b is keeping secrets about his outfit. We can't book the reception until we get there!! People aren't telling us if they're coming or not as if we don't need to know and at the weekend mil2b was asking me about table decorations...? I just wanted to have a greek meal in a greek taverna, now i need to have table decorations..? out of control!!!!!
saving up another deposit as we've lost all our equity.
We're 29% of the way there...

Snap! You obviously have excellent taste :p

What other songs are you thinking of having in your ceremony?
  • I've just heard that Prince William has confirmed that they will be getting married next year. My first thought - better not be the same day as me!

Quite like a classical piece to walk in to, thinking satie - gynopedie
Elbow for signing the register as its a nice long one & I love it!
Maybe Al Green - Let's stay together or maybe Stevie Wonder - for Once in my life...

My OH and I both have quite particular music tastes so will be debating this til the registrars deadline (Friday!)

    What are you having Insomniac?

  • I think a lot of my bridezilla moments actually *aren't* bridezilla moments at all. Usually I'm so laid back and let people walk all over me but this is the ONE THING in my life that is about me and OH and I'm not used to making decisions that are for OUR benefit rather than everyone else's.

I am SO close to dumping one of my bridesmaids. Something she sent me in a text last night was SO inappropriate it's got me absolutely furious. I'm so easy going, it's difficult to anger me. I've known her for 17 years and she's never provoked this reaction in me. Part of me wants to let it blow over (I didn't reply to her text last night and she sent an apology about half an hour ago), but the other part of me wants to react. What makes me feel worse is that I know that if I told OH what the text said, he'd be even more furious with her!

Sorry, that won't make much sense to you lot without you knowing what the text said. I'm probably over-reacting...
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP
(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)
