This is me too, I'm not bothered who's coming, what colours everything is, if the favours are co-ordinated, where everyone is sitting... it just seems so trivial and stupid to get stressed over stuff like that, I think I'm a complete anti-bridezilla to be honest. As long as the people who do come have fun, get drunk and dance the night away (as I am definitely planning to, sod being all womanly and reserved... I'm having a good time and drinking as much as I would on a normal night out!!) then I'll be more than happy. That probably makes me a bridezilla in everyone else's eyes.

It's not just me then! My OH is organising most of it. I picked out colours because he made me! As long as everything is nice (OH has better taste than me anyway) I don't mind what it is. :)

My name is Pickle and I'm a bridezilla because...

I have to stop saying 'MY' wedding and start saying 'OUR!!!!' wedding.... lol oops!

I told my mum she couldnt wear purple because my bridesmaids were, then after she'd bought her teal outfit, saw a lovely photo of a mum who matched the BM's so I told her she could take it back and swap it...

And my wedding has to better than my two oldest friends weddings! lol

Uh oh, that all sounds awful. I wish I was un-bridezillaish but im such a perfectionist anyway, there was no way i wasnt going to worry about every minute little detail. oh well....

LOL, I'm glad my wedding is 6 months before my best friend's because I'd go spare if she 'stole' any of my ideas if it was the other way round! As it is our weddings are total opposites but I still want ours to be better! We had a fall-out in Hobbycraft because we both wanted the same style invites so I stroppily said she could have the invites and came up with something loads better! I got a great idea from the 'Something different' thread yesterday and had to bite my tongue when I saw her last night because I don't want her nicking it! Methinks I'm getting a bit paraniod!

I was so NOT a Bridezilla!
Started off with a lilac and powder blue colour scheme which soon expanded to any shade of purple and blue as I couldn't be hassled with the time/effort/money needed to find everything the exact same shade!!!
We told the Mum's, My Dad, Best Women to come in whatever colours they wanted/hats/no hats/trousers/black and accidently ended up with a fairly co-ordinated wedding party!!
Even told my Best Woman to come in her jeans (when she was stressing about finding something 'suitable') didn't care a jot as long as she was there and comfortable.
The ribbons on the favours were different lengths because our friends helped assemble them and the balloon arrangements weren't all in the same colour arrangement - it really didn't matter, they put love and thought in to helping us have a fab day!
I did think that despite being so relaxed about it all, I would have a 'stress' on the day, but didn't!
Went for my hairdresser appt in the morning and had a little moment of OMG can't find the boards we bought for the cake/cheese.
Then thought - who cares? Who is going to notice apart from us? That (and 3 glasses of champers) set the tone for the rest of the day.

This is the funniest thread on MSE. Much better than some of the nuttier ones in the Arms.

Although I have to admit some of you are really scaring me!

I have his son and my son and daughter both monitoring him on the day...I'm thinking of making him sign something too! :D

I've made OH promise that when I say he's had enough he has to stop drinking for at least an hour and have something to eat! have also secretly asked my mum and dad to keep an eye on him!!! getting him to sign something is a very good idea though......
