I got a bit 'zilla the other day. I told OH's brother that I hate it when he shaves his head as he's got a funny shaped noggin and he looks so much better with a bit of hair and if he does it for the wedding he's not in the photos!

I told my brother the opposite! He has a very pointy nose and when he has hair it looks worse! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My nana accused me of waiting to announce the wedding until after he had shaved his hair off - he used to have long curly hair - until he got drunk! He shaved it off with a bic razor one day!

I am now Bridezilla - THE Bridezilla! Is it wrong to want people to talk to you! Just rung my baby brother- knowing he was out until 4 this am to find out if he is sharing a room with his gf and baby or if they are still not talking! If it was a large hotel it wouldn't be so bad but it only has 11 rooms and they need to know by tonight who is going in which room! Absolute nightmare! He wasn't impressed to be woken up! Tough! Big sisters prerogative! :rotfl::T:rotfl::T:rotfl::T

    AAAAAAAAAAAAArrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok... so last night OH rang brother (best man) for a normal chat and in it ended up with brother saying 'I think I'll just buy my own suit and I don't really want to wear a waistcoat'. Then my OH tried to explain that he wouldn't look like part of the wedding party etc. It ended up with my OH coming to bed absolutely fuming!
Oh my gosh... as my bridesmaids pointed out to me today... They would wear anything I told them to to be involved etc and to make me happy.
I told him that if it were me I would tell him to either wear the original suit (which we showed everyone 4 months ago when we got engaged btw!) or to do one!
How Bridezilla is that?!? God I'm an awful person!!!
  • i am going to be bridezilla and moan.

one of my bridesmaids new i wanted them all to have blonde hair and has decided less than two months before the wedding that she needs to dye her hair brown because it is being brittle! argghhhh throw my pics out of sync why don't you!

she changed when she moved and i wanted her with blonde hair like the old days not much to ask as she's been blonde for the last 4/5 years

    grrrrrrrr

I know this sometimes get people btiching, so please don't tell me how evil & selfish I am, I know..
And I am pleased for them, really I am, but 3, yes THREE of my friends in 3 days have told me they have having babies within a few days of our wedding so won't be coming :(.
Couldn't they have crossed their legs just for one month?!!

Gosh magic that quite a coincidence is there something in the water near you (get crossing your own legs!).

I hope even if they are due about then some of them manage to make it even baby/bump in tow unless they are there first and they are paranoid about germs and to many people etc.

Legs are well and truly crossed Maysie-my dress is far too beautiful to risk not fitting into it!!!! :D
I doubt 2 of them will come, one couple live in Builth and one couple in Herefordshire and the wedding is in Hampshire, so they probably won't want to travel that far :(
Oh well, c'est la vie and I've just had an email from a joint friend to all of us, telling me she definately WON'T be having a baby then because she wouldn't miss our wedding for the world, so feeling a lot better now :)

im feeling more bridezilla than ever and need to reel it in i think.

    1) getting very narked at the people who are saying that they'll come out to greece for our wedding (i know, very good of them) and then they're going to stay out for another week to make it their holiday. NO no no no no. You cannot stay out there after i've had to come home!!! I will not have it!!!

    2) i hate the pictures of me in any dress and at this rate won't have one to wear at all.

    3) No, i don't want a photographer and no i don't want to have to keep explaining why. just BACK OFF.

    4) No, there will not be seating at the venue, the ceremony lasts 5-10 minutes, deal with it, none of you are old or infirm!

Had a bridezilla moment last night when my mum told me that my niece is pregnant again. My first thought was 'well that'll interfere with the table plan' until I found out she's due in may so that'll be yet another squealing infant, putting the baby and toddler count up to 5 and none of them are mine! I would love to ban children from the wedding if it weren't for the fact that I want the older ones there.

I swear if they ruin the ceremony with screaming I will be playing a south park style game of 'kick the baby'.

    Grrr.

I actually do like babies, I just don't want 5 of the creatures at my wedding.

codemonkey - am in the same boat although there will be 11 at ours, oldest will be age 7 (a newphew) and youngest will be 10 months.

and while i do love them i have a horrible premonition that there will be lots of noise during the ceremony.... oh well!

we were going to do a ban but considering 5 of them are related (3 nephews on my side and two nieces on OH side) we thought why not have the rest of them there. it also means that the ones travelling from glasgow won't have a problem trying to find someone to look after the kids for a weekend and there's a better chance of them all coming over.

although my newest bit of news is that my oldest nephew is getting an autism assistance dog so there will also be a dog at the wedding (can anyone say kid magnet!) there's even a chance that the doggie could be walking down the aisle with my nephew (he's a pageboy) if it's the only way he'll be comfortable doing it!

don't really mind about this one, if it keeps him happy and content and prevents him from stressing out i'm all for it! .... wonder if i could colour co-ordinate the doggies harness for the day :rotfl::rotfl:
