I've just finished my fantastic hen week (week because my mum and gran couldn't make it down to Brum as they run a b&b so we went up there for a few days.)

I rang my sister last Sunday to confirm that we would be going up my parents house for a few days (and knowing that she usually has Tuesday/Wednesday off we though we'd go up on Tuesday-Thursday.)

My sister said she couldn't come over to the meal, so I asked if she could come over for a hour just so I could see her and to give her a break, she said no as it would cost £1.63 in petrol (she lived about 40 mins away) and that she was too busy. I compromised and said that we could meet her half way so it would be easier and she refused due to her dislike of one of my bridesmaids who she called "hostile." I told her to text me and let me know what she wanted to do and left it.

The Wednesday of the meal came and she was ringing up my parents house every couple of hours for a chat with my mum; if she was that busy how on Earth would she have timne to do that? That annoyed me, but I continued anyway and had a fab night.

I cam back to Brum and heard nothing from her until Saturday night at around half 7 (pm). My bridesmaids had been using Facebook to check us in a various places to document what we had been doing and where. My sister texted me saying; "Hi I didn't know you were having a hen weekend!! Just wondering why I wasn't invited as I'm off this weekend!! Bit upset tbh!! :("

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! She said she had no time off when my bridesmaids asked her, and when I asked if she could come over to my parents house (a 40 min journey) she said it would cost too much yet apparently could travel to Brum (2 and a half hours away) and approx £45 in petrol!

My family were invited to both things and I understood about my mum and gran, yet my sister has been continously awkward, yet this has been the final straw! :( I haven't texted her back as I have no idea what to say.
Planned our wedding, still planning lessons

I think my dad thinks I'm being a bit of a bridezilla this week as we have decided not to go with his retired photographer friend who offered to do the photographs for free....and pay for someone instead. I have heard this all through my mum second hand of course, not sure if my dad is actually speaking to me! Luckily my mum is very supportive of me, I think partly because she famously regrets not standing up to her mother about having a white Rolls Royce at her wedding and ending up with a horrible dark red car instead!

I'm feeling very bridezilla as one of my mates is being a cow towards me ATM - I was soooo damn nice and kind to her in the whole run up to her wedding and I feel very hurt that she is stressing me out before mine! :(
