There will always be someone who doesn't like something... Yes just tell her to stuff it! Ok, use your words not mine!
Bouncy castle sounds awesome! Everyone will love it on the night!:T0 -
Feeling very bridezilla on OH's behalf today. Quite a few of his friends have dropped out of his stag do because they can't afford it. Now, I understand one of them has a family - fair enough, one has lot his job - okay. But many of them spend £100s on normal nights out but can't afford it for his stag. Especially as he went abroad for a friend's 21st just over a year ago which was a huge big deal to their group of friends and cost a fortune  :mad:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Sorry Gemmzie, that's crap of them! Be glad he has something organised at least - we have just under 11 weeks and I know of nothing organised for OH. His "best-woman" doesn't seem the organising type and her granny died yesterday so that scuppered my plan of pestering her into something this week! (not meaning to sound unsympathetic, I really do feel for her!)
Could he invite them round for pizza, beer and xbox or something like that as a Plan B?
Thanks johannalf88, I can't wait for it! I'm mostly thinking of the awesome photos hehe.0 -

Maybe but he's only going paintballing and on a night out!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
Ahh Gem that sounds rubbish. Hope some of his friends sort themselves out.
My OH went on his stag do this weekend and a few dropped out last minute but he still had a good time.First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Argh! Where to start?
My wedding is now less than a month away and I am still chasing RSVPs.
One person RSVP'd saying that he won't know until a couple of days beforehand and will let us know then. I told him that the venue needs the numbers soon so sorry he couldn't come but he was welcome to come to the evening.
OH's best man lives abroad so we can only really contact him through email. We ask him questions and he takes absolutely ages to reply which means things get delayed.
As the best man won't be around for the stag do, OH asked someone else whether they could be stand-in best man for the stag do. He accepted but didn't organise anything even though it was less than 2 weeks away. I had to do the organising for him.
I asked everyone for their dietary requirements and I know there is at least one person who is vegetarian, who didn't put anything down. I will give her a vegetarian meal but any other vegetarians who failed to tell me will just have to have the meat option and go hungry.0 -
I can see me getting to the same point as you in a month's time Olokia. I know other people's weddings aren't number one priority for people, but not sending RSVPs is just plain rude..No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Hi Bridezillas...
Just wanted to pop in and say hi, and that all the bridezilla moments will be totally worth the stress!
I had sooooo many issues... my mum not liking ANYTHING we chose, car cancelled 4 weeks before, my ring was sent back twice, caterers cancelled 3 months before, had to organise chair covers 5 weeks before, chased loads of RSVPs, order of services were printed wrong....... the list goes on!!!
But... even though it rained, the day was absolutely PERFECT!!!
Little things that weren't quite right were sorted and it all went so well.
So even if everything seems to be doomed and going wrong, keep the faith and it will be perfect!
