I am a bridezilla, i think as i keep panicing about everyting, my colours are black and purple in the end of august !!

Problem is we are having a handfasting and people dont know what it is and everybody keeps telling me we should have our civil ceremony on the same day as the handfasting I DONT WANT IT on the same day its gonna be so busy ....

I am disabled so cant cope with really long days as my pain level will be high already even thou im gonna be high on the painkillers

BZ moments..

My mum phoned me to ask if my uncles girlfriends MUM can come to the wedding as she is staying with my uncle & his gf that weekend and she'll be on her own.
Errm.. No. I dont know her. Never met her at all and its not my problem that she's staying that weekend.
They've known our wedding date for 18months so it could of been any other weekend!

I already got pretty much forced into inviting (extended) family that i dont even like or want there ¬¬

Also, i've only met my uncles gf a few times so our relationship isn't exactly close either.

I had this massive strop at OH about our reception venue when they were being awkward about me going into decorate.
Convo went like this:

Me: Can i come in to decorate before hand?
Lady: Yes.
Me: Can i come in at about 4pm?
Lady: No, we close at 3pm.
Me: Can i come in earlier than 3 then?
Lady: No.
Me: ... When can i come in then?
Lady: In the morning.
Me: Im getting married in the morning at 10:30am
Lady: Well come in Friday evening.
Me: When about 8pm?
Lady: No about 10pm.
Me: I cant, i have a newborn and i live no where near here.
Lady: Well decorate saturday morning then!
Me: (raising my voice) Ijust said my wedding is saturday morning! Can i come in before 3pm? Like 1pm?!!!!
Lady: Yes thats fine.

:mad::mad::mad: Why didn't she just say it was ok to come in in the afternoon when i first asked :rollseyes: :rotfl:

on top of my BZ tendencies, I now have to deal with a groomzilla moment too - my h2b has decided he doesn't want a wedding - just to be married!

no family, no friends, no celebration:eek:

hmmm, some weeks of negotiation to come as I want a big fairytale do:rotfl:

we are suited really! and of course it's about the two of us, but I want to have one very special day with a very beautiful dress and gorgeous venue (stamps foot)

Why am i having second thoughts about my dress, i am having a handfasting which is a pagan wedding as both me and my partner are pagan minded, people have made comments about how weird its going to be my colours are purple and black

I have had a couple of BZ moments - most recent one is that FIL2B wants us all to go out for a big Indian meal the night before the wedding. I will be stressed out to the max and feel it's innappropriate as currys make me so bloated! I just wanted a quiet night in to get myself sorted out and ready for the wedding day. He knew I didn't want to go (and I've said any other night is fine), he agrees I'll be stressed out, but he still sent OH a text last night to confirm if we're going or not!
I said no but apparently it can't be any other night as certain other people won't be able to make it! Err...I don't care, I'm still not going out the night before my wedding!

Thats the kinds thing my FIL2B would do.... he didn't even say congratulations when we said we were getting married!!:mad:

Now everytime i see him he's wanting to know where the '!!!! up' is going to be. I'm just not going to tell him. And my MIL2B keeps dropping hints about OH's brother being his best man.... I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!

My own mother has been like that! She got in such a strop when I told her the wedding and reception wouldn't be in the town we all live in because "No one wants to have to drive home, everyone goes to weddings to get p***ed and have a good time" and "how are we all supposed to afford taxis home from THERE?"

She came with me to my dress fitting and said "yeah it's quite nice" and then resumed looking through the photography album in the fitting room.

Oh and she insisted that it was the done thing for everyone (yes EVERYONE) to wear white carnation buttonholes. No offence to people who like carnations but I don't like them at all. And only 11 people will be wearing buttonholes, not everyone!
