Will they just put me through to the specialist team if I ask them too as I dont have letters from them or any phone numbers apart from the main one.
What do I do if they wont put me through to the specialist team?

Hi
My husband has just phoned TC and asked if our account is marked and they said no, its on a declaration list, they are checking info, if they need any documentation they will ask for it, otherwise it will be processed in time.

this is my 1st experience of tax credits and now causing me sleepless nights! :mad:0 -
i renewed on april 26th and told them my childcare costs had gone down, just rang tc and they not altered my payments nor my annual review geting fed up now. Wander if it worth writing to my m.p.. . . .
Do you know if your renewal has been fully processed yet? You should have received a final award notice by now.
Also, if reducing childcare costs you get a 4 week run on where they continue to pay you at the higher rate so you may not see any reduction in your payments until this month.0 -

I understand this is frustrating but if you have renewed then there will be no impact on your award and your payments will not stop.
Tax Credits are now putting in some additional checks as it has previously been a case of 'pay now, check later'. This way they ensure that all the details held on the Tax Credit system are correct and up to date and can try and reduce the amount of unecessary overpayments.
If you've received a letter asking for further information then try and reply best you can or give the Specialist Renewal Team and phone and see if they can help.0 -
