Smartie, I'm just down the road from the hospital if you want to come live here for the time beingWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

smartie, you need to stay away from the hospital hun, lol, I'm glad you and your son are ok, make sure he's careful with that wrist. Do you know what date your c-section will be? and it's only to be expected with how naughty that baby has been so far. Really should make up for it once baby is here and behave like an angel!
Have you been swabbed to see if you still have MRSA present in the usual place, nose and groin? because if they did that and you still did, then they could start you on the wash that will get rid of it and minimise the risk for the c-section wound. If you haven't been re-swabbed, ask.
His wrist is up in a sling and tomorrow he's having an xray then probably a plaster cast thingy. I had to cut some food up for him just now!!:rotfl:
No idea of possible date yet. See consultant on Fri. I may get another scan then and my midwife has told me after phoning hospital that I HAVE TO have another scan and appointment by 37 weeks and not to leave hospital until I have one!! I need to get this baby head down SOONER rather than later then evict him naturally before they decide to whip him out. I have my homeopathic stuff to take which I shall try in next few days.
I've had all the lovely swabs done which have come back negative BUT because I've had a positive result before I'm seen as a risk still... that's why I'm gonna have a private room.neneromanova wrote: »Smartie, I'm just down the road from the hospital if you want to come live here for the time being

Only the best. OH HAS to have the best tea and coffee so he only drinks filtered coffee or Twinnings strong tea or Earl grey. Oh he also has a Yunnan flavour from Fortnam and Mason from our trip to london. It's only tea leaves so is a LOT of faff. But it keeps him happy and quiet which make me happy. lol. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

anyway I managed not to throw up so thats all good :T . Just phoned to get my results and I don't have gestational diabetes, but my result was high ish 8.3, so I have to go for another GTT at 28 weeks
, it doesn't really worry me - but - I get the feeling that this bubble is going to be a large one, which means that its coming out the sunroof, which after DD2 it is probably safer, I really really didn't want that this time (scared of wounds - would rather have them in my foof where I can't see them :rotfl::rotfl:) DD2 ended up getting herself stuck and broke her arm .
Not going to worry yet though, but going to be good and avoid as much sweet stuff as possible - which should not be to hard at this little one has put me off all sweet stuff! drinking lucozade was awful :rotfl:
On the plus side - my little angels start back to school on Tuesday and DD2 is off to primary 1 :T:T:T:T:T:T - PEACE!!
My letter says no food or drink except water so I just had a drink of water in the morning before I left. 8.3 is quite high, did they say what the cut off was? Would be interesting to know. I think with DS mine was 8.6 and they said it was borderline but I'd had gestational diabetes in the past so diagnosed it anyway. I didn't do a GTT with DD they said my random blood sugar test was high enough to diagnose gestational diabetes. This time my 16 weeks result was 5.8 so I'm just waiting for the next GTT at 28 weeks as well. It only showed up later on with the other two so is likely to this time as well.
Incidently my sister had an 11lb 5 baby and she had no gestational diabetes. My babies were not that big really considering what they could have been if it hadn't been controlled, and them evicted early.
Smartie good luck for friday x
Rach let sirmonster know we are all thinking of her and hope the bp comes down soon x
MV can't believe you are having your second scan on monday, I'm only having mine on friday, stupid hospital feels like I've been waiting forever for this scan. Also I only really started feeling this one around 19 weeks and its my 3rd, with my first it was later still 20/21 weeks. DS I felt from 16 weeks but it was the butterflies. This one I feel all over the place, its not like butterflies and not full on kicks and I don't like it, just feels weird.
Gonna take the kids to the beach tomorrow so long as the weather is not pants. I've no money after our holiday and it should only cost £2.50 to park for the day and hopefully it'll take my mind off the scan on friday.0 -

Rach does Sir Monster have any idea how long she'll be in for?
I think she's hoping to get out today, just needs her BP to come down I think!
I managed to pick the person with BO to sit near on the train tonight  do people not know about deodorant?!
I am going to bounce on my ball for a bit, see if it helps the hips a bitMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
smartie, you'll get a private room until you have at least 3 consecutive negative set of swabs, just thinking of minimising the risk for you.
If you were going to be in hospital for a while, I could imagine a private room being boring, but just for a couple of days after having your baby, that might actually be quite nice and restful.
Hope the x-ray doesn't pick up anything too bad.
I also don't think I'd be able to keep that Lucozade down after not having anything either, so you did well.
I've been at my parents all day, being forced to rest.
Thanks Rach, hope her BP stays down now and everything stays ok.0 -

Ok... I'm moving in!:rotfl:
And if I'm in hospital for ages if/when I have c section you can pop round to see me with a cuppa and a slice of cake;):D
I'm starting to feel really gutted that I'm probably not going to get my "stay at home as long as poss, hypnobirthing and pool... then straight home with baby" birth:(BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Oh, and I didn't feel much real movement until well after 20 weeks (maybe about 24-5, can't remember really but I was worrying of course!)
I've still not had GTT results, but the finger !!!!! test at 28 weeks ish was 4.8 or something so she said was unlikely I had it.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Any particular flavour cake? Do you want it decorated as well? I can do something like this if you like?
