Labour vibes Xmas, hope this is it. Labour vibes for everyone else who wants them.
What a lot of you up early this morning, I'm getting pregnancy insomnia more and more these days but last night ok, up 3 times for the loo but got back to sleep ok each time which is a good night for me.
I'm off work today having a mid-week break but fortunately don't feel too tired so might get some jobs done, unlike how I was this time last week. I finish on friday so only 14 hours left to work:eek: I'm feeling a bit panicky about it because I have so much to do before I finish. But I'm really ready to finish as its getting tiring, so I'll just have to do what I can and come 4.30 friday I think I'll be able to put it all out of my mind and relax. Just need to not let the panic spoil today!
MOTM - if your OH feels sick first thing try eating before she gets up. I had a friend who did that (I think she kept biscuits by her bed) then waited a little while to have effect, if she didn't she'd be sick as soon as she got up. Also I swear having protein for breakfast made a huge difference to how I felt in the early weeks - you sound like a lovely man who would be happy to make her breakfast:):)0 -
Merfe - I'm also pg with my 3rd and was freaked out by the movements this time at first - just felt really wierd, never felt like it before. After a few weeks I got use to it and love feeling baby move - even when it hurts.
Glad I'm not the only one x
2girlsforme I know you have probably gone now but you can drink water so shouldn't be thirsty. I took a magazine with me and read the whole thing in the 2 hour wait. Also you should eat something before you leave the hospital either take something with you or get something from the shop there.
Got to pop to the chemists this morning and pick up DS prescription for his fungal infection, doctor has prescribed the same cream he has been using for the last month, said use it for 4-6 weeks then if it hasn't gone he'll need some oral medication but he is reluctant to give him anything orally because of his age. He is 4 I know the oral medication is prescribed all the time for younger children. He is holding in all his poos because it hurts to go and wipe after and that is not good for him. Then take them to the park I think since its nice.0 -

Fuzz – hugs, hope you’re ok.
I was wondering about smartie too
Have sent sir monster a text to see how she is this morning, will let you know what she says, suspect if she’s come home she’ll have gone straight to bed as doubt much sleep likely in the hospital!
I was also up quite early, though not as early as some of you! I left the house at 7.15 and was at my des at 8.30, nice change! It’s nice and quiet in here today, hopefully I can get some stuff done…suddenly seems a very short time til I finish!!
There was a long chat on my facebook about RL Tea when I mentioned it, v funny. I must get some this weekend.
Have also decided to phone the physio dept to hassle for an appointment, hips are getting worse and worse. Thinking of getting a private appointment if not, have to try something. My friend has sent me some tips that helped her and can’t believe I wasn’t automatically referred given my history of being born with hip problems!!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Thanks girls and yes I'm ok:) Its not baby related..not for me anyway....found out my oldest and bestest friend in the world has cervical cancer:( Its been caught earlyish but she still has to have either a full hysterectomy or radical trachelectomy(aka Trachy) just reading up on it now:) Either way conception will be difficult and may not result in a baby assuming she got pregnant and could carry a baby..but I've offered to rent her my womb if needed so you never know:D:D
We're lucky its been caught early and she's being very practical but in my pregnant state I'm highly emotional anyway so it's really not helping lol Makes you realise how lucky we are! So now the 1 person I could rely on to have a non-baby focussed convo with wants to know all the details and about every single twinge I get...its like having 3 flaming Mums:eek::D
Rach if it's getting bad harrass the doctors before it becomes unbearable:)1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

oh fuzz how upsetting.
I phoned the hospital and almost ended up in tears saying how bad it is (wasn't intentional). Lady rang back to say they can see me next Wed. something of a result at least!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Lady rang back to say they can see me next Wed. something of a result at least! Its not too bad...like she says..not like she's dying or anything:rotfl::rotfl: Sorry but humour is our way of dealing with stuff:o It is upsetting coz she's only 26 and has no kids yet...that was all ahead of her, sounds terrible but if she'd already had a child or was about 15 yrs older it wouldn't seem so bad IYSWIM:o
And RESULT! for hospital...amazing what a few almost tears can do:D1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

morning all. labour vibes to those that need them. I am luckily not having problems sleeping at night time at the moment infact probably quite the opposite. So very tired.
I packed some things in my hospital bag last night as OH was out and i could potter around the bedroom without worring about the mess i was causing. Still got a few bits to put in there like dressing gown as DS uses the belt for a pretend fire hose so i need to search his room i think for that! I am sure i didnt pack as much last 2 times but never mind. Got plenty of time to alter things as yet, plus if MW has her way i will be delivering at home so shouldnt need it anyway.
Been listening to my hypno cds and relaxing well but seem to just fall asleep. Am hoping it will help but still a little sceptical about it all which i am sure is not good.
Off to swimming lessons and a quick swim after with ds and dd in a little while so must really get off here.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hi everyone, hugs to fuzz and rach. Sending labour vibes to xmas. Hope Sir M will be ok.
I had my driving lesson yesterday and am now much better at roundabouts and did two three point turns well. Im progressing which is good. Got hospital appointment tomorrow to see consulant, hoping that they give me a date for my c section. Can't believe im 32 weeks and a day already. Its nice to see my baby kicking, you can see my stomach move more often now and yesterday when he moved i could feel something, but not sure which part of the body it was. I just want these migraines to stop and the back ache.Married 09/09/090
