I have been worried this weekend as i keep getting migraines and i have been prescribed codeine by my gp and i found on friday that in the space of five weeks i have had about 90 codeine tablets which amounts to about 45 migraines. As when i get one i take tablets and then four hours later its back again. I have tried to take one but a lot of time have had to resort to two. I didn't realise that i was going through so many tablets and now im worried about baby. I have had a migraine for three days now and been taking paracetamol which isn't really doing anything and have got this migraine patches for my head which are helping. I don't want to take any more codeine and am going to the doctors tomorrow about it.

Re brackon hicks i get them and they do hurt most of the time.

Think I'm having a really bad couple of days at the moment. :( Don't really know why.

I just feel like I have no energy even though I sleep well at night, I keep scaring myself with the birth and how much it's going to hurt and how much I'll hurt after with the tearing like last time. :( The thought of having the baby after though, even though I should be thrilled at having her, I just don't seem to be as happy as I was in the begining...I know that's really horrible to say as there are some women dying to have kids out there and here I am not happy about meeting mine....

Has anyone else felt like this or is it just me?

I think we all get days like that nene. I've been worrying sick about it as well but gave myself a kick up the bum about it. I can't go into this thinking its going to be awfull or it will be. Ive preped for everything there is nothing im not ready for so sitting here worrying isn't going to get me anywhere so im staying positive. Yes it will hurt but ive done it before and coped so have you and your more prepared last time and no two births are the same so who is to say you wont breeze through this time :-)

I spent the last few weeks thinking I had quite probably made the biggest mistake of my life... I was ill, tired, in pain, unable to walk or sleep or anything.. and I had an absolute breeze and have the most wonderful, beautiful little princess..

My first I had a pretty awful time, I tore through my bowel and my cervix after the episiotomy and it took forever to heal.. I had more stitches than a patchwork quilt! My second I had nothing.. she slithered out without so much as a wince..

It WILL be different this time.. I'd put money on it!!

I wasn't looking forward to it either.. I do think a lot of it is natures way of getting you through the birth..you feel so crappy you will do ANYTHING to feel better again.. literally in some cases!

She is just wonderful.. feeding like a star.. made me giggle in hospital when they said when she was ready to feed they would come help me.. yeah right.. they didn't even bother changing the sheets when they were really nasty and bloody.. despite being asked to.

Uh oh. Diawoowoo, very grumpy, feeling emotional/weepy, and doing quite a lot of tidying. Also feeling a bit sick. Does this mean she might be on her way soon?

Fingers crossed :D well in a way fingers crossed. Would really like the 13th for delivery...

if you get leg cramps, try pulling your big toe (if you can reach) or put your foot resting up a wall so you are flexing your ankle and your toes are pointing upwards, it'll release the muscle that s cramping quicker than just rubbing your leg.

I force my foot upwards towards the shin.. works every time.. and you don't even need to move :D I get cramp loads anyway and was having spasms every hour or so the last few weeks.. something else to wake me up!
