Thanks for thinking of my CACF, your too kind
I can understand how men get annoyed when they're trying to stop us from doing housework but to be honest with my OH everything has to be done 'later'. If my house is a mess I want to clean it straight away, as half the time my OH comes home and cant be arsed to do anything anyway! When it comes to cooking and washing up though, my OH always dissappears!!0 -
... but I am so grateful to him for how he has been lately
I don't know wot I would do without him moving the furniture in the house, sorting the babys room, rubbing my back
etc

Hey all,
Foul mood today. Cannot possibly see how I am going to survive this pregnancy and with a new born as a singleton. Yeah, I know women do, but I am not feeling strong, just weepy in fact.
Sorry.0 -
Ello all can I join from the less than 12 weeks thread? Im 15 weeks today according to my scan yesterday
Going to see the midwife for my booking appointment at half 1 today I had a private scan as I apparently dont get one to 20 weeks here but a friend of a friend who is at the same practice got a 16 weeks one even though I was told I wouldnt get one so we shall see today

KitKat - Mine's kinda the same, I almost have to get a bit moody for him to get up and do it, but I appreciate it's his days off so I dont want him to feel like all he does on his days off is clean the house, which I could do whilst he's at work....
And mine doesnt do the back rubbing, so I think you win xx
Taken one photo of the top ive got on today, so will try and post that later on for those looking for cheaper maternity alternatives.
Emmsy - Have ou had a look on NetMums, they have some good advice posted up on there for single mums. I can only think of practical things to get sorted, i.e all the bills changed into your name, benefits etc
But we're all here if you need to offload xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I have to admit, I do feel sorry for my OH as he works long hours Monday - Saturday and his only day off is sunday. But I do also work fulltime Monday - Friday, and the occasional Saturdays. I also am doing 2 college courses in the evenings. It is hard to keep ontop of things!
To think last year I had three jobs; this fulltime one, an evening one and a weekend one, and I still kept ontop of things, where did it all go wrong!!!!
My OH does the back rubbing, but it is for about 10 seconds then he wants me to rub his back or his neck, I normally remark 'are you carrying a baby too' lol. I think back rubbing should be the law for dads-to-be!0 -
God I'm glad its not just mine that does that! I say to him, my back is really hurting today, and his is always worse..... LOL
Hopefully that works, I tried to lop my head off as I look a right skank today....
but thats the beachy tunic top i got from primark for £5. It has elastic under the bust, which sits perfectly on top of bump, and its not too tight elastic either....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Its a very small pic but it looks nice!! I will defo check out primark as £5 is very good. I love wearing leggings so I am sure I will find a nice long top (I hope!) To work im just wearing strappy tops with a cardigan style thing over it and my black trousers, doesnt look too bad so far, and I am hoping showing abit of cleavage stops people looking at my bump! (dont mind people who know looking but strangers just seem to think I am fat!) some people reckon Im growing by the day but others thing I dont look pregnant lol
What is it with OH's back/ etc problems always being worse!0 -
Its like they think we'll have any sympathy for them..... all my sympathy goes on me! LOL
So glad its lunchtime, im starving...got a ham and mustard sandwich, and a packet of quavers. Gonna have to go to sainsburys though as i used all the ham that was left which means DH wont have any for his sandwich for work tomorrow.... Its unlikely that I'll only come out with sandwich meat LOLWealth is not measured by currency0
