    Morning all

Thought I would pop in and show my face............bump will come later me thinks. Did sneak in here to see if my thread had been moved about my anti D jab but still cant find it so figured I'd post anyway to say hello.

I'm guessing that gill is a mummy by now being that I've only just caught up on the thread - hopefully pictures will be along soon - cant wait.

Well I'm currently 30+5 days pregnant and am wanting it to go quickly as I cant wait to meet my little girl now.

although I am concerned as the whole of my pregnancy my diet has been shocking - honestly couldn't tell you the last time I ate an actual meal instead of picking - and no idea when I touched a vegetable that was a potato. I seem to have craved junk food with her so I've mostly eaten nothing but crisps, chocolate, jacket potatoes, the occasional bit of chicken when I can stomach it, wafer thin turkey ham, star burst, chips, cheese and onion sandwiches, cheese , and bread and butter. Plus I've been drinking loads of milk, diluted juice and evian! I did avoid tea for 6 months but am back on it now. Have had the odd few bits of fruit but no where near what I should be having. Really need to get my diet sorted out i think! Have had a cup of tea, 2 pieces of toast and an apple for breakfast this morning though.

Anyone else had a really rubbish diet with their pregnancy??? I just cant seem to stomach eating anything after I've cooked it - all the smells completely put me off.

Oh and I have discovered also that bump is a big fan of ................... O Fortuna but only when sung by Rhydian Roberts!

CAFC, definately no housework! Glad you feel a bit better though.

Sammy, I've not been eating as well as I should. Crisps have gone from being an occasional thing to something I want everyday. I also had a random craving for Macdonalds - something I haven't eaten in over 15 years. Babies have a funny way of taking the nutrients they need though (it's us that miss out), so I'm sure lil girl will be fine, so long as your eating something. It sounds like you're keeping your fluids up, which is really important.

Had the most uncomfortable night. My left hip and buttock goes so numb and painful at the same time. Does anyone know if we're allowed to use things like Deep Heat or tiger balm? I'm guessing no, but I really don't like taking painkillers.

Morning all, as expected I'm behind already with this thread:p
Nice to see some more trickle over from the -12wk thread.

Cafcgirl - I'd second getting that extra credit on the phone for emergencies. Hope the twinges have gone and you slept well.
Hmm, think i better find out more about these Braxton Hicks.
Choccybiccie - Sending Labour vibes your way.
Smartie - I hope the consultant gives you some answers, sounds like you've had a tough time of things.
Bufger Keeping out of mischief over here?;)
Tinkwings Happy Birthday - hope you got the best present at the scan.:)

Sorry, can't remember much more past the last few pages but hope all is well and thanks for the welcome.

I'm 13+3 and feel fine right now but start a 2-day a week admin job on Thursday. (waiting for HR to confirm this though). Problem is it is a 6-month contract and well, I've not told them I'm preg...yet.:o
I should finish this job around the time I'm due to drop...but that is assuming I have a trouble-free pregnancy. (Keep thinking of the pig farmer woman on One Born Every Minute who did manual work up until the birth).
Would you tell the boss asap or wait until you knew the work?
It doesn't seem too stressful but then again,...I've never been pregant past 13wks before.
    Thanks x

Hi all, can I join. I thought it was about time I "graduated" from the less than 12 weeks thread since I'll be 14 weeks tomorrow :o

I'm a happy bunny this morning because last night, for the first time in weeks, I slept through the whole night without needing to get up for a wee :D Simple pleasures! Now, if I can just get to the stage where I can stay awake beyond 9:30... :p

Hope I've got the list right. Feel free to shout at me if not!

Hope CAFC is feeling better today *hugs* you had us all worried there, and then my internet disconnected last nite at home and I so wanted to know you were ok.

Littlewoods seem to be being overgenerous to me lately, they sent me a £25 off £50 voucher last week (which I ordered some winnie the pooh baby clothes, pooh changing matt and a grobag egg all for £25 :D) then yesterday they sent me a £10 gift voucher, no minimum spend, so I ordered bubs a cute jacket (as I am seriously lacking in baby jackets) and it was FREE with FREE delivery, its coming tomorrow, I am well chuffed. I know you have to be careful with these catalogue companies, but so far all my discounts have been addressed to me, and I have kept copies of all the letters, just incase they try to re-charge me my discount. :p
  • Morning all :) Finally caught up!! That'll teach me to have 3 days away from t'interweb:p

There was plenty more I wanted to say but can't remember now:o

    BONJOUR!!!!!!

Feeling ok, only had a couple more of the whatevers they were last night, and I had a bath and they got much less intense after a bath, and then the last one was just before i fell asleep, and none of them woke me up. It was ruddy heartburn that woke me up in the end!

DH was really good with me, he was feeling my belly when I had one, and said it felt really weird, like it went really rock hard, and my skin felt like i had goose bumps and all the little hairs were standing up....

oh well, that was entertaining for an evening.....

I'm a bit peeved though that a m/w never called. I see them on thursday so gonna create merry hell i think :)

Welcome to all the newbies, and vibes to anyone who needs them....

Not sure if you posted this yesterday KitKat but what size are you normally clothes wise? I had a thought re maternity clothes.....

As for food and what people are eating - i've given up feeling guilty that im not eating more fruit and veg and just eating whatever i fancy..... although i do always try to have breakfast cereal with milk.... and then drink at least two large glasses of water, and then other drinks throughout the day. Just have to be careful how late i drink them, otherwise i wake up at 3am desperate for a wee....
