I'm trying my hardest miss, i promise! So far ive only messed up the EDD list twice. I havent yet insulted anyone or made them cry so im doing well! Hopefully i've made a couple of them laugh or wee themselves :T

Good to see you over here LL.

Also Hi *BB*! good to see you here too :D

Oh dont worry about making us cry.....

We have a habit of doing that to ourselves for no real apparent reason, and our DP's find it endearing (well mine thinks im odd and pathetically endearing when I cried because I couldnt walk the dog anymore!)

OH HOW I LOVE PREGNANCY HORMONES!!!!:p

    BONJOUR!!!!!!

Feeling ok, only had a couple more of the whatevers they were last night, and I had a bath and they got much less intense after a bath, and then the last one was just before i fell asleep, and none of them woke me up. It was ruddy heartburn that woke me up in the end!

DH was really good with me, he was feeling my belly when I had one, and said it felt really weird, like it went really rock hard, and my skin felt like i had goose bumps and all the little hairs were standing up....

oh well, that was entertaining for an evening.....

I'm a bit peeved though that a m/w never called. I see them on thursday so gonna create merry hell i think :)

Welcome to all the newbies, and vibes to anyone who needs them....

Not sure if you posted this yesterday KitKat but what size are you normally clothes wise? I had a thought re maternity clothes.....

As for food and what people are eating - i've given up feeling guilty that im not eating more fruit and veg and just eating whatever i fancy..... although i do always try to have breakfast cereal with milk.... and then drink at least two large glasses of water, and then other drinks throughout the day. Just have to be careful how late i drink them, otherwise i wake up at 3am desperate for a wee....

Glad your feeling better, I am sure I have read that severe braxton hicks causes your belly to feel fairly solid, and that your get goosebumps? As its like a contraction, but not full blown labour. I will try dig out where I read this, take it easy and NO MORE HOUSEWORK!!!!

    Im a size 14 but I think I will be 16 soon enough :D

OH HOW I LOVE PREGNANCY HORMONES!!!!:p

my OH cried last night because she feels useless because i wont let her do anything. I will let her do stuff but i think lifting the hoover, carrying lots of bags of shopping etc is a bit far! i told her off when she was trying to lift a really heavy item in Asda, she said she felt like my child!

I did feel bad but not as bad as she would if she lost the baby because of independance. Why wont you ladies just let your fellas do everything for a few months? i thought you would be really glad of it??!?!

My OH just has to show me a bootie, outfit, or anything tiny that is the babies and I will cry, he laughs his head off! I also tend to cry at most of the soaps on TV, and cannot watch sad films or horrors as I dont think we wud hav enough tissues in the house! I cried few weeks ago about selling my car, cried as baby hadnt kicked for a while, the list is endless, i really need waterproof mascara!

Tragically there may have to be some light housework, as the puppy has now recovered from the drama yesterday (he was SOOOO good with me). He was playing games with his Daddy this morning and they've left all the mess out!

Admittedly Gordon and his Daddy (although I think it was more Daddy) have left me a note to say they'll do it tonight when Daddy finishes work, but i'm not sure i can stare at it for 11 hours! LOL

Rats @ sizing, was gonna say you can have some of my bits that have stopped fitting :(
Promise to try and photograph those dresses i was chatting about yesterday ladies.... before all my drama xx

Bufger - I think it all depends on how we're told not to do things......
Being scolded in the middle of Asda probably isnt the best way LOL

And we like to feel like we're still the same person and not just an incubator for baby.....

It was in the car park where people couldnt hear me and i tried to do it nicely but ive been telling her for weeks now to slow down. She felt terrible a week ago because we thought we had lost it due to a busy weekend where she wouldnt listen and sit down. She felt really bad and promised she would let me do more!

I want her to just relax and enjoy being pregnant. She doesnt have much sickness etc so i think she's quite lucky in that way and i certainly dont want to be bossy.

She will need to slow down eventually yeah I agree but she might also want to do as much as she can whilst she can....it's no fun when you just have to sit on your backside and clock watch!

I'm at the stage now where I've got to accept I physically cannot do much, because i either cant reach, bump gets in the way, get too knackered or set off the worlds worst braxton hicks like last night LOL

Some women go right up to the day of birth lugging about wheelbarrows of horse feed!

And yes she's very lucky to not have much sickness!!!!! I had mine up till 17 weeks and was ready to kill myself i felt that awful!

Best thing I can suggest is ask her what she would like to do, i.e if she wants the hoovering done, and then help her do it, or if she wants to paint the kitchen, take her out for paint and ask her to do the smaller bits. That way she's not going to feel like she's "not capable" but at the same time she isnt going to run herself ragged....
