Morning all.
Sorry for those having probs with OH. I think mine still has his head stuck in the sand about the whole pregnancy thing! But then Id rather that than he started panicking as that would make me panic.
re births, I try and not think about it. Am doing my birth plan with MW this week, so am gonna have to start thinking. I already have some views, i.e. I really dont want an epidural as the idea of not being able to feel my bottom half scares me. But then the pain of labour scares me to. I think as I have no idea whats going to happen, that I will basically try and go with the flow. i.e. if I cant cope with pain, then give me what is available etc. I want the skin to skin contact as soon as hes born, and would like to leave hospital as soon as poss (as hate the idea of being stuck in a ward with 3 other women and their screaming babies, whilat trying to figure out what to do - want to be at home, so OH and I can figure it out in peace) but apart from that the professionals can do what they think best, as I have no idea.0 -
It's my due date today! :j:j:j:j:j:j
40 weeks and fully cooked, woohoo!
Now come on baby, where are you?!
TNV - I would call midwife/Maternity Assessment Clinic at hospital if I were you... hope you're ok x0 -
It doesn't appear to be anything more than spotting, but it's kind of worried me a bit with it being bright red!
I will keep an eye on it and give them a call in an hour if it doesn't stop.
I haven't had any bleeding at all throughout this pregnancy so would happen right now at the end and scare me to death wouldn't it!!
My DH is at work untl 12:30 so if I can hold off until going in to get it checked out until then I would like to as I really hate hospitals at the best of times!

My OH seems to have taken notice of my whinging the other day, today we're going to strip the woodchip in DD1's room because it's got to be easier than washing it all down!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Tnv if its fresh blood i would deffinately get it checked out it is probably nothing at all but better safe than sorry. My second was very fond of kicking his placenta and making it bleed i spent half my pregnancy in hospital with him because of him doing it but everything was fine and he never did any real damage.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

NV I agree with DP. I'd ring the MW / hospital too, as they maybe able to set your mind at rest straight away. Otherwise if they ask you to go in, then you can always wait for DH to take you as its only a few hrs before he's back.
DP congrats - am very jealous. I want to be full term too!0 -
I'd get checked out too TNV. xxMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Dear Pru: happy due date! Let's hope your baby is with you soon!
TNV: I am sure it's nothing to worry about but I would get it checked just to reassure yourself. *hugs*
Rach: sorry to hear ur OH is being a PITA. I just don't understand why they do it to us while we're pregnant *hugs*0 -
TNV please ring your midwife or hospital and explain what has happened, maybe also say that you don't feel comfortable coming nto hospital or can't get there and ask is it possible for them to send a MW out it will probably turn out to be nothing especially as you have felt baby moving today. x0
