Men.... I went to have beans on toast and there was no clean cutlery!! You'd think me being in and out of hospital would mean more of an effort would be made?!!
And I do find if I say "why hasn't so and so been done?" I get a "well you didn't tell me to" back!!
Devil child is currently trying to shove his feet out of my mouth and it hurts!! He/she is sooooo naughty in hospital. When a midwife goes near him he kicks her, when they try to listen to heartbeat he moves as soon as they've found it and on the monitor he likes to stop the heart beat by hiding!:D
And he quite often dives down toward my foof and gives me a shock!!:rotfl:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Lol Smartie @ Devil Child!!!
My OH is similar with cutlery/ plates. He has been known to eat his cereal out of a vase purely as he was too lazy to wash up a bowl! When I was last in hospital for a week you should have seen the state of our house... my god!! And the smell!!! Ewwwww!!!0 -
well I have done the hoovering/cleaning kitchen floor and dishes and cleaned the kitchen up. told the boys off some more, confiscated and returned another toy! hopefully get peace for half an hour as they watch Tom and Jerry. I need to be more patient as they are not bad boys - just boys! but am definitely hormonal + tired which is not a good combination.
Take it easy everyone and give your lazy OH's a kick - switch off the tv's and computers or stand there with hoover on right beside them blaring in their ear until they take notice - don't wash their clothes and when they ask why they haven't got any clean clothes say "well you didn't ask me to put them in the washing basket and you didn't ask me to wash them did you???"BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

I actually spoke to my OH this weekend about his doing some chores before he is allowed on his playstation. He hoovered and then said 'can I go on it now' so I told him he had to do more so he washed up. It seemed to work but I did feel like a mother telling a child what to doare we ready for a baby together??
