Can't have a cuppa as got no milk :p

DD1 has just washed DD3's hair for the disco at school tonight... I've had a massive run in with the head and assistant head about DS3... he was told he was not allowed to go to the leavers disco today (he is one of the leavers!!) as he had not taken part in something we had no idea he was supposed to be taking part in.. I win!! He is in the shower as I type.. or he better be or he won't be going!

I have a raging infection.. possibly a UTI/kidney infection given the ++/+++ blood, protein, ketones, glucose, leucocytes and every other thing they test for with a dipstick!! pulse rate of 104 (should be about 65) and a temp of about 38'C.. which isn't too bad but explains why I am so hot! and SPD which I told them I was supposed to have been referred for 5 months ago!! So I have AB's I'm not taking (I end up with chronic thrush which refuses to be treated) and iron tablets I'm not taking.. and 5 vials of blood down! Explains my waterworks issue though.. I always get very watery when unwell.

Baby is 'on the large side' and while not moving is fairly happy, apart from the contractions we are getting 5 minutes apart.. *shrug*

Like I said.. I do not have pre-eclampsia.. I am NOT stupid!! So, HA! and *blows raspberries*

I have now refused to be booked in anywhere, refused to see anyone unless it is on MY terms and I just need to sleep for a 1000 years.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest. As you know you are probably getting contractions because of your UTI. Anyway I wish I was your midwife cos I get where you come from.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

i have loads to catch up on:eek:

i have discovered google is not a good tool for a pregnant hypochondriac like me!! my feet are swollen and ive developed cankles, but i was googling as i keep getting this awful pain right at top of bump under ribs like someone is twisting a knife in, i thought it was really bad heartburn or maybe a foot? but it says abdominal pain can be a sympton of pre-eclampsia. i was just wondring if anyone has had it and if they had the same pain as ive described??

**off to read back and catch up

I have had that pain in top of abdomen under ribs for past 8wks and yep feels like someone has a hot burning knife twisting - mine is coz baby is most def breech and squishes himself right up there and on the right side of my body - can actually feel all of him on right side and left side of bump is squishy!!

Yep me *waves hand from the dark shadows of lurkdom*

Felt very similar to a very painful stitch but mine was right in the middle, just under my ribs....

I got in a right panic and phoned the midwife when I first got it because I was struggling to breath with it, but noone cared and told me it was likely to be a bit of baby just really well stuck in....

I just pushing downward on it to try and shift it, and have a drink so baby would shift.... helped until he moved back :rotfl:

    HTH xx

Hi everyone, your baby is gorgeous kym. I have not had a great day too, i woke up with pains in my legs, which i do seem to get and the pain lasted hours. I tried to hoover this afternoon and found it hard, i don't seem to have that much energy and finding it harder to breather, i ended up getting stressed and peed off and snapped at my poor dh who then bless him even throught he was working helped with the house work. He told me that i should have asked him for his help and to tell him in future what needs doing and he will do it. I feel fustrated in not been able to do things like i used to be able to, i try to do more housework at the moment as im off uni for holidays and dh works full time. He is so kind and caring and understanding.

Also he went to the supermarket for me as i wanted a few bits and bought me some flowers.

sorry you had a bad day ms12 - hope today is better!

StarJump - hope work goes ok

I feel loads better this am, went to bed just after 10 and went straight to sleep, did end up getting up 3 times for the loo before I actually got up this am, but still feel quite rested. Working at home today, but in reality that's a few hours work this morning and then lunch with sir monster, midwife this aft and then another hour or so of work. Must get the HIPG form done today as I forgot to ask last time.

Ooooh, my kiddicare order is coming this morning. :D

smartie - hope the hospital is ok today.
