Hugs PP - this baby must be nearly cooked, hopefully it makes a safe, quick arrival soon.

Tigerlee - the bleeding after birth is much, much worse than any period could ever be - think of the 9 months of periods you've missed coming at once. I was so shocked when I got in the bath after giving birth - tmi talk about a blood bath !!! And mine lasted for 2 weeks or more - I also made the mistake of going out for a glass of wine or two with the girls at the end of the two weeks, drink thins the blood, I bled right though my outfit and had to make a hasty exit !!! I have 10 packs of pads just in case, I'll be surprised if I don't need more P.s. This is coming from someone who normally has very light 3/4 day periods

re enjoying not having periods - i haven't even noticed as I've had too many other side effects

think I might be up for some queue jumping - lost my plug on Saturday, feeling a bit crampy today but we've planned to go 80 mile round trip to a museum as a treat for our wee man so I'll see how that goes !! Don't fancy a big gush in the middle of a public place but I can't hid away for the next couple of weeks. Might wear a pad just in case. And pigpen I'm trying to keep my legs crossed so you can go first.

NeNe love the pick I'm 36 + 1 today and I'm a similar size/ shape, must upload some pics tonight

    Morning ladies

can't remember everything i've just read but congrats kym and welcome to baby megan. Your birth story are the kind I like to read about! And to sonee too, I like the name you've picked.

Nene you have a lovely bump. And thanks for asking about maternity pads tigerlee, I wondered this too and thought maybe 2 packs would be enough but I think not now!

Hugs to everyone feeling rubbish today.

All this bleeding business sounds horrible, I have loved not having periods and dread their return. I normally am 'on' for about 7-10 days and have short cycles so come on every 2-3 weeks :( I am dreading going back to that, or if its got any worse, dont think I could take it.

The last MW visit she mentioned about contraception, I asked my OH if he would consider taking the 'man pill' or having the jab and he said absolutely not, I really do not want to go back on the pill as it just makes my cycles worse, plus I feel like I have been through enough with the pregnancy (blimming men have it so easy!)

Ahh I am sooo moany today, think I need some more breakfast :)

hugs to you pigpen - sounds awful - as long as you know in yourself that baby is ok and active & normal then hopefully you won't end up having to go to hospital. Can you call your midwife and just explain? that way she is only on the end of the phone lol and you can keep her at a distance if you don't fancy going into hospital.

Sorry, I've just read quickly through the thread so I apologise if I've missed anyone out (which I no doubt have).

Rach Hope GT test goes well today.

Pigpen MW sounds a nightmare :( Hope the bleeding calms down soon.

I've just bought a lot from the M&S sale and only spent £27. Some gorgeous stuff. Very MSE with Quidco. :D
